Really, we're in the same spot Tennessee is IMO.

Mullen deserves a ton of hte blame last night, but there is maybe (MAYBE) 2 future NFL players on defense, and Franks will never be the answer on offense.

I'm just waiting for the other Gator fans to tell me I'm being negative all the time.

I called this shite before the season. 5-7 at best.

This was posted by a Gator fan on the Rant following our loss to Kentucky. 5-7 turned out to be 10-3 and Franks had the most successful season for a Gator QB since 2009.

Florida will probably still finish in the 9-3/10-2 range and Franks will throw for around 3,000/30. Let's stop the pearl clutching and enjoy football.

Didn’t UF have 4 guys drafted? Admittedly things looked bleak as frick after that uk loss. Amazingly UF is 10-2 since then counting the Miami win.

Pretty sure that was my post

I predicted 5-7 last year and 11-1 this year

After the UK game, I remember being every down on Mullen and crew.

They made adjustments especially on defense. Getting Reese back helped.

This is why they play the game. Not complain about the in the moment nuances that could have been better

USA Today Re-Rank dropped us to 28 because we beat a sound Miami team. And, I'm not linking that smut to this post.

I've never seen such blind disgust towards a successful football team. I'm pretty sure we moved up on the rankings after beating MSST 13-3 last year.

Go Gata!

Nothing like a loss to bring out the worse in Gator "fans" they eat their young and want public flogging with whips because the blame game is in full force.

Its idiotic and the sky is falling attitude is usually from desk jockeys who don't know jack about college football.

When we lost to Mizzou last year...Franks had a bad game, but the whole freaking team was flat as a pancake because we had just lost to UGA, Mullen said it best when he said we lost two games when we got beat by UGA.
The bubble popped and the air got out.

I was pretty much hoping for a close win (although not as sloppy) for everyone's head to deflate a little bit. We are a good team but not elite, and I think our best attribute is our tenacity and effort level. That is best achieved with the confidence that we can get it done, but not expecting to blow out teams.

Only thing I am really worried about is the OL. We pass to open up the run and if we can run we are toast. That said, Miami had a great defensive scheme against us and it made us uncomfortable all night. We could not get any kind of push against their DL and it made the ball fakes and RPO things we do right behind the LOS extremely more difficult.
