No excuses. Florida won the game and is 6-1, why do we need excuses?

Georgia played a good game on defense. Florida scored 24 points.

Won by 2 TD.

What more do you want?

Seriously... this might be the best weekend for us in a while. We crush Ga, FSwho is getting spanked and Tenn might lose. Enjoy the moment and cheer up buddy

What was our avg at the start of each drive? Our D put special teams in great field position situations.

So let me get this straight... you would have guaranteed Grier's spot?

Not guarantee but let him play vs Mizz and start vs UGA . He's gonna make Mac look like an idiot for pushing him out.

Only to people like you that put winning ahead of ethics. The only way Grier would have stayed was a guarantee to play. He didn't deserve that.

But I 100% get you now.

I LOVED getting a two touchdown win tonight against UGA. It was great.

I bet you're excited about how FSU is looking though, aren't you TJ?

They're beating Clemson. Cook is going off. Hope we beat their arse. I doubt it though.

Yep, 246 yards of offense and won by two touchdowns -- there's a huge problem you have, TJ.

It's that you don't understand context.

Our defense held them to 164 yards of total offense, Mac controlled the game. He didn't need to take risks, he didn't need to get a bunch of yards -- he just had to make sure to win and he did.

So now we're two wins away from winning the East again.

We're at 50% third down conversion rate, which is among the best in the country and Del Rio had like half of them that were pretty difficult passes.

McElwain might win the East a second year, and really we're the shoe in at this point. What gives me hope is our run defense.

Georgia had 21 yards of rushing.

Twenty.

fricking.

One.

We dominated them in every aspect of the game that there was to dominate, the score didn't show it but even when we were down by three we were predicted to win by a minimum of 73% according to ESPN (I watched the GameCast).

Really, there's no pleasing you. Let's just put that out there.

No matter what McElwain does you won't like him. We win the East ''the East is down'', well it was when Muschamp was here, too. The East hasn't been a power conference for a while, so what else do you want?

Would you prefer to have 3 SEC losses like Tennessee?

What team in the East would you rather be? Asking to be Alabama, or Alabama-esque is the stupidest, most myopic thing I've seen on this board. Especially given our offense was completely broken. But back to the East: Who would you rather be?

I speak for almost every Gator fan on this board: Just shut the frick up. You don't add anything to any conversation. You lack football knowledge, like adjusting for how we were playing on their end of the field almost the entire game.

Or how we hit home for first downs, 20 the entire game against 9. Or how we had a 50% third down.

You're one of those people who would rather look good losing rather than look bad winning, and I'm the opposite. I don't give a frick if we win by 1 or a hundred, as long as we win I'm happy.

And even if we don't, I'm still a Gator. You're such an unbelievably pathetic, crybaby fan.

I understand it just fine. Like when a newly hired HC says he can win with his dog and save for the one QB he had and ran off the rest were atrocious. You're describing WM football to a T. No wonder why you suck Mac off so much he's the reincarnation of your boy WM. UGAs offense is trash. Pure trash. #71 in total yards, #92 in scoring offense, #91 in passing O, #79 in RZ O and #46 in rushing but only averaging 66 yds/game he last several.

3Rd down conversions don't mean shite when your #122 in the RZ and #61st in scoring. You're like WM championing winning TOP. I'd like florida to be UF and have a good offense not one that requires pepto to watch. We'll have 3 SEC losses before the years done and they won't be pretty. Bama and LSU will cave in this team like a boulder on a car. Why can't We start freshman at QB? LDR isn't the answer yet several freshman qbs are succeeding around the nation. LDR is absolute trash. I find it fascinating that you guys are the only gator fans that think my view is the minority. Its not. My knowledge is just fine. You're fricking delusional and insane. That's why can only tout 3rd down conversions. None of your arguments hold up to scrutiny whether its the SOS, recruiting, scoring, passing or rushing. Keep pumping your sunshine could power the us for a decade. Yes we may win the east but is that really saying anything when there maybe 2 teams that make a bowl? Its not the early to mid 2000s anymore

Bro, no one's pumping sunshine.

We know our offense sucks, because someone didn't recruit decent quarterbacks, and the one he did recruit decently pissed hot -- not a fault of McElwain.

And I fricking hate Muschamp, I wanted him gone after the FIRST season because he had a serviceable team and drove it right in the ground.

That's the difference between the two:

McElwain wins with half the four and five star recruits that Georgia has.

Muschamp LOSES to teams that he has parity with. That's the big difference between the two.

Mac: Won the East for the first time in forever, broke the record for least yards allowed, has doubled our production on offense with less talent and had two 500 yard games in the SEC since 2008.

Mus: Never won the East, broke the record for yards allowed in a game, lost to an FCS, didn't bowl for the first time in 30 something years, almost didn't bowl his last year, consistently lost to teams with lesser talent and really only got fortunate to keep the game close and kick a field goal to win.

McElwain is fifteen times the coach Muschamp was, as Othello said. Our team is winning by double digits regularly, in fact, outside of two games (both with our backup quarterback) it hasn't even been close with any team.

But again, it doesn't matter to you -- we can beat Missouri like a rented mule in their stadium and you're like: Well we only had 21 points of offense.

The frick do you want? To start losing to Missouri like we used to? Same with Vanderbilt?

You say 246 yards of offense, but we won by two touchdowns against our rival and solidified ourselves as one of the powerhouses in our region.

Miami is in decline, FSU has 3 losses, we just dominated Georgia and we control our own destiny with four underclassmen offensive linemen and a pair of transfer quarterbacks.

What in the frick else do you want? How many points would have been acceptable to you? What production will make you happy? We beat our rival by two scores and we did it pretty easily. Held them to 21 yards of rushing. What more could you possibly ask for?

Better QB play? Well shite, let Mac get a real quarterback in there. But until then, we're winning with what we have and you shouldn't be a little fricking crybaby everywhere.

You're an embarrassment.

Is the OP really just butthurt that we encouraged Grier to move on? The dude took steroids, knew he took steroids but lied to the coaches about it, and then decided to make his appeal be based on UF screwing up the testing. Then he goes and develops a coke habit after he can't play.

I'm fine with him not being here any more. Del Rio isn't great, but we got two ones in FF and Trask that will be ready to take over next year if Del Rio doesn't make any progress.

I don't get how you can complain so much when we had a two TD win. Crazy.

The Griers tried to frick over the University of Florida. The school I love. frick them. Harden and Grier were cancers on last years team.

Glad he is gone.

His choice at QB isn't playing the way he should be.

At some point, you have to look at the guys on the field. It isn't ALL on the HC. At the end of the day, he's ultimately responsible. However, LDR has to play better and he needs to take his shitty play recently personally.

Take what the defense gives you, speed up the decision making process. Very simple.

LDR has had 2 mediocre games in a row. He is about 1 second late on all of his throws right now and that is hurting.

Still, he converts 3rd downs, keeps the offense on the field longer, keeping our defense rested, and UF would have been perfect in the red zone yesterday if not for our kicker being suspect in short to mid range field goals.

Is the offense a work in progress? For sure. Am I positive Mac is the right coach for Florida?

No.

But I also enjoy the fact that UF is winning games by 2+ TDs and even when bad things happen I don't piss and moan like a fricking old whiny arse bitch.

Why is it so important to you to crap on our coach and our team?

STAHP IT. We have rivals that can do that for us.

When Mac has a QB the offense is great.

Many were saying Grier looked like another #7 out there last yr.

We re not at practice, im sure Mac sees what we see plus some as how the QB play is right now. If there were a better option,he d be playing.
