I don't think Faulkner is a great hire but definitely will be a different offensive philosophy which is what is needed
I want to see whom he brings in as O line coach please only have one O line coach where his job is the O- line only

I would have gone with a Bell but this is a solid hire.

I think hiring a Bell as a offensive analyst is ok, definitely not as a offensive coach or coordinator of any kind

You never know until you see it but it doesn't look like a bad hire as he does seem to taylor the offense to the players unlike some of them. His QB at Southern Miss the year he was the OC was an interception machine but it looks like that QB only got on the field in garbage time after transferring to Mizzu so he may not have had much to work with there.

Will we def screwed up the search for HBC but we are doing very well so far with this staff so far absolutely and I like the coach we got.

I think we need a great strength and conditioning coach..help control diets, lessen injuries, etc

I have no idea if Sumrall will work out but i'd say Week 1 was as successful as it could have been.

It get's amped up a notch if he brings Rusty Whitt from Tulane with him for S&C. That guy is an actual special forces snake eater. He quit at Sam Houston after 9/11, joined the Army in his 30s, and made through SFQC at 33.
