If that is really KC, he’s way dumber than I thought he’s was.

In other news, one if the final things GatorRaid said last night was to “look out for a plane from Tupelo to Gainesville late Friday night”.

Both of their accounts are still accessible.

I guess now I am just hoping Sumrall rejects us and goes to Auburn, LSU or Ole Miss instead.

Whatvwr lane is lane and if you don’t get him ok
But to go straight to a g5 coach from louiansa after we just fired one and offer almost as much as we’d offer lane is retarded

Insight on Sumrall as a Tulane/Florida fan
Just giving some insight on Sumrall I know a few people hated me this week because I correctly assumed we were out on Kiffin a week ago. I think it is very clear we are hiring Sumrall and he is making a decision Sunday on if he’s staying at Tulane or not. (Haven’t seen that mentioned here but local new Orleans media is reporting that) But anywho here’s some pros and cons off the top of my head.
Also, Tulane plays 1-10 Charlotte tomorrow and I’d recommend watching as you can see our future offense. Also they should be hosting the conference championship against North Texas and I’ll be there but Sumrall might not. Also I expect them to lose.
Pros:
1. ELITE twitter presence and will rival Kiffin as the biggest troller
2. Will go after big names in the portal which is something Billy was not likely to do
3. Has some potential to be a great recruiter as he was able to get some of the highest ranked players in Tulane history to commit before he even coached a game
4. Has a very likable personality similar to Dan Campbell if you guys like that. I think he’ll win over the fanbase very quickly based off how edgy he’ll be. Recently he’s created a new slogan for Tulane (RMFW- Roll motherfrickin wave) and has the team selling merch for it
5. Great guy I’ve seen him several times around the city. We for some reason frequent the same places idk
6. Will have a sound defense and likes getting guys in the trenches (on defense at least)
7. Special Teams has been very consistent and their kicker is probably the best player and maybe the only person I’d want Florida to poach if he has eligibility left.
Cons:
1. Cannot seem to build out a roster completely each season. Tulane enters with a big hole at a position group each year. This season he couldn’t get a QB until the BYU guy got kicked out for rape and they took him with a month before the season. I think they went through 4-5 guys this offseason.
2. His offense is very similar to Napier In that its run heavy with multiple backs (not all big guys like Napier had tho) and targets TEs a lot yet they are blocking TEs similar to what we did with Hansen the past 4 years.
3. Will target high ranking high school guys that didn’t pan out in college on their first or second stops. Ty Thompson, Mario Williams off the top of my head. They were allocated a blah ton of NIL and we’re not worth it.
4. Extremely undisciplined offenses that commit bad timed penalties in the redzone. Similar to a Billy Napier team
5. Continuing off of that, those penalties make it tough to close out games and Tulane has consistently blown big leads in the second halves yet still get the win. I’ve been saying all year if they would have better second halves they’d be a top 15-20 team already because the voters don’t watch their games just the scores.
6. Has also done the billy special and added random juco guys or other players in the windows outside the Spring and Fall.
All in all he’s very very similar to Billy in the way he runs the program and while I love him at his current level with Tulane I do not see him being successful because of some major red flags that are similar to Billy’s. However, the amount of resources he will be getting to build this team and the fact he’s a defensive guy instead of an offensive guy like Billy might lead to a different outcome. But, I think as with Billy it’ll all come down to whether or not he can hire the right coordinators and also show he can fire them as well when needed.
Last point I want to say how stupid iOS 26 is and I had to retype all of this because it deleted my whole essay here.
Edit: I see a lot of people saying we should be hiring the opposite of Napier and I think it’s a dangerous game to make hires based off that. Trying to find someone the opposite of him is how we got Napier after having Mullen. Not saying this to say Sumrall will be better but more of I think we need to look deeper at why things didn’t work and if this coach can be better in those areas.

To be fair, I don’t think we know who Gary’s #2 and #3 is. He wasn’t specific.
