Sumrall is already a Auburn lock!
So why would any of this even come out
That Florida would even be interested in this guy
Unless Lane has already said no and is staying at Ole miss

Ask your insiders. Idk what I’m talking about remember.

No, you didn’t.
That was aimed at some other people.

At the end of the day, by default, someone will be right and someone will be wrong. The truth right now is that anyone who says they know what Kiffin will do or says that they have inside sources that know what Kiffin will do is full of shite! If the shoe fits, wear it. Go Gators, beat Tennessee!

A lot of LSU fans think Sumrall is their backup plan.

Your consternation toward me means nothing to me personally. I literally don’t give a shite especially considering how it started.
Politics makes people crazy at times. I do appreciate you not continuing down that road though.
Having said that…
IMO Sexton and Lane are going to reset the market. Then the question becomes how much risk is a school willing to take.
Lane isn’t a championship coach. He’s a risk. OM is happy with being near the top. UF isn’t. It’s a different animal as we all know.
Throwing the world at him may pay off and it may not. I also believe if he leaves OM then he has designs on moving up. After UF, should he come, is the NFL next.
Maybe not.
I am just not sold on him being the savior we hope for. These hires are all about timing.
Saban isn’t ever at Bama but for near perfect timing.
If he comes, I will certainly hope he’s successful. If he stays I personally won’t be upset.
The silly season is nuts. Rumors flying. Leaks leaked for specific reasons often as distractions and leverage moves.
After the egg bowl everything should be clear. Just have to survive the rollercoasters that the paid site “insiders” create for clicks and the related hysteria they cause.
People are following planes for Pete’s sake.
UF is in the running but nothing is ever a sure thing until pen hits paper.
The guy I reference in all this from the other private forum is still confident.
Take that for what it is worth.
I’ll also add that with the Gainesville visit, I believe Lane is struggling with this decision.
His history of trying to “move up” may not mean much as he’s “matured” a bit. Obviously he needs to leave Twitter alone. Lol

My fear is that if UF lands Kiffin, every year will be a circus regarding his next move. Is it Alabama? NFL? I am tired of this already and can't imagine repeating it annually.

It’s part of the risk for sure.
You just have to hope that the UF ties the family has would keep him still and he rides it out until retirement.
He just seems like a grass is greener guy to me. Maybe I’m wrong.

That’s true. Maybe he’s matured.

i no longer feel good about this. any of it.
for one, hiring kiffin would send a jolt through this program it sorely needs.
but on the other hand, we'd be in Ole Miss' shoes eventually.
however, the Coaching Changes board has me believing that kiffin really is that stupid to go LSU. and that's probably because i'm biased to Florida, but i don't feel good about it. we've needed some good for a long time, and i just feel it slippin away with a "we tried" excuse.

Stay patient. Can you wait 9 days because there’s going to be a lot of noise between now and then.
Kiffin is either really struggling with this decision or Sexton is doing Sexton stuff.

People are chasing planes again.
But that’s the word on the private site too but I think that’s all coming from the plane chasers.
We have people there that are taking pictures of the damn tail numbers at the airports in addition to the tail number tracking.
