I'm still up in the air on Napier and leaning towards him not being the answer.
But the LSU win is enough for me to not call for a change at the moment, and if he keeps winning or doing well enough moving forward I will remain in wait and see mode.

I'm the same way. I don't believe he is the answer but after the LSU win I'm not calling for a change at the moment. Lose the last 2 then yes its time for a change. Win one and win the bowl game then give him next year with a new President and AD(hopefully).
He needs a OC to call the plays because I believe he holds the offense back. I do think Lagway making great plays is what won us the game. The players are playing hard for BN but his play calling is just terrible.

We're stuck with Billy another year so it's moot.
But if the seat gets hot again next year and we're having these talks again, I think I'm out on Cignetti.
That performance against ND was pretty Napier-like.
Very scared money, punting it like that. Scoring garbage time TDs to make the score look more respectable. Reminds me of many Napier losses.

Yep, I agree with you, after watching Indiana vs Ohio State and N.D.

According to Abolverdi,
Looks like we may be very excited about a possible OC
I guess we will see

I saw something about Chip Kelly.

I just hope it's not Kade Bell. This Pitt offense has sucked lately and has been horrible today.

We need someone with a gunslinger mentality. I know Napiers bread and butter is running the football which having the backs that we have i get it but I think there will be games were Lagway can put up big numbers with the receivers we have here and coming in a fun and gunslinger offense would be exciting to watch.
Not that it will happen nor am I calling for it to happen nor do I think it should happen ( just talking out loud) spurrier running the offense would be fun to watch

They have been starting a backup/walk on QB for weeks now I believe. I’m not a Bell advocate, just pointing out that important detail.

I would rather Napier keep Russ than hire a Bell
If you are going to go out and hire a OC make a splash hire don't just settle because ohh his dad played here.
Kerwin nor Kade has done nothing as a coach or coordinator to justify hiring either one.
Let's just hope that if there is a OC hire it will be a homerun,
Hiring either Bell as OC!! would be the most underwhelming hire Napier could possibly make

The OL was bad too, not sure if that's on Bell or on Naruzzi for recruiting poor players or poor development from Cignetti the past few years.

I would rather Enos over Bell at least Enos has been a OC for bigger programs
Although has not been great and definitely do not want him to be OC. But he is 50 times better as OC that Kade or Kerwin would be

Sorry butIMO you are mistaken.

No not mistaken
Not sure why you want them so bad to be OC for the gators when neither has done nothing to deserve the Job
I would rather Jackie Sherrill
be OC over any Bell he maybe what in his 80's
But at least he has done enough in his career to warrant the Job

You know what opinions are like, everybody has one but if you look at Bells history, he has had good offenses everywhere he has been and he is a Gator which is the tiebreaker.
Posted on 12/29/24 at 8:51 am to UFMatt
No i could care less if he is a gator or not
With that way of thinking then we can look at the Caw and say ohh he is a Gator so that covers the tiebreaker let's hire him to be our OC.
Kade Bell OC and QB coach at Valdosta State, then the same position at Western Carolina, under dad as well!!!
Now at Pitt, I don't see their offense breaking any points or yards records?
Do you Matt?????
So exactly what has he done to warrant the OC job at UF at this point and time?????
Played at Jacksonville state!!!
Let's move on to Kerwin ,
Played at UF i guess tie breaker for you.
He was a grad assistant in 1990 at Florida, went on to be OC in the CFL, then a high school head coach, then HC at Jacksonville state, then HC at Valdosta State with " his son as OC"
Then Went to South Florida as the OC in 2019 only let's see
22.7 points a game 331 yards a game average and ranked nationally as the 112th offense in the country
So what exactly about any of this makes sense for either one of these guys to be OC at Florida?

Like I said, opinions, everybody has one. Let’s see if or who we end up with and hope they are an improvement.
