Apparently we're bringing in Ron Roberts from Auburn to be AA's DC Daddy.

I fully support this move. Guy is legit, Leach and Aranda targeted him.

Armstrong has mastered “4th and 17” so Roberts can show him how to “4th and 31”

Auburns Defense was worse than ours in 22, this season they were 4th in the SEC in scoring Defense with him as DC.

Ill take it

Was just joking about that. Overall it’s a decent hire

Plus we'll have a grownup on the sidelines dealing with the players

Miami just landed Cameron Ward at QB I see. If the game wasn't in the Swamp that would have probably sealed Napier's fate.

or it’s really sealed his fate as a loss there would be absolutely nuclear

Yep if Napier blows the Miami game he is a dead man walking. Might as well fill out the 26 million dollar check.

“Our overall roster is going to be older,” Stricklin said. “Older teams beat up younger teams. You look at the teams that played in the College Football Playoff; there were a lot of veterans on those teams. One of the keys in college football — really, in all college sports these days — is you need to be old and you need to figure out a way to stay old.

“So we’re going to be older.”

Everything is just fine for 2024.

So Russ Calloway got promoted to Co-OC?

ETA: Rudner is saying he’s being heavily pursued by other schools so it might be a move to make him stay.

Well, one of the ways you do that is by not losing players like ETN to the portal...

Had some good offenses at Samford. But his style there clashes with Billy's overall philosophy, no?

Just use more space on the field and that's a positive improvement.
