Anyone on on3?

Keith N says that Napier will likely be back

and apparently some poster on there is claiming that Stricklin and Napier are even getting small extensions on their contracts.

If Napier is getting an extension, it’s probably just optics to show recruits that he’s going to be here for a while.

If I were a recruit and heard that Napier is going to be here for a while, that would probably prompt me to stay far far away from this dumpster fire

This can not be true, there's no scenario where this makes any sense at all.

If it turns out that this happens, UF is fricked for a very long time, things are so rotten that it won't be as easy to fix as firing Napier and Stricklin.

We've accepted mediocrity and a bumbling dipshit of a head football coach. I'm going to sit back and laugh when Coach Slingblade loses a game with 12 guys on the field next season.

I did respond to Stricklin with an e-mail for what good it will do, I am no longer a booster, season ticket holder or Gator club President. When the Gators go 5-7 or 4-8 this season and close with a 51st rated recruiting class we will see what the future brings, add to that we will probably have half the team hit the portal when the season ends. Like I said in my e-mail to Stricklin, I am almost 70 years old, and I fear that I will not see the Gators relevant again in my lifetime. RIP Gator football.

So we won't pay his buyout this year, but buyout all his shitty staff members, pay the contracts of a whole bunch of likely losers who would work for this proven loser on the hot seat, and then pay his buyout and all their buyouts next year?

The UAA and Stricklin are fricking stupid as shite.

Well I do like that they're forcing his hand as a condition for staying. He's bad and he's stubborn! It shouldn't take conditions just to get him to clear the bottom feeders off the staff!

I suppose if he's going to stay then yes force his hand. I just don't like that it even has to go that far to justify keeping a coach who never showed any potential to do anything worthwhile here.

With news yesterday of Golden sending crank pics along with the women's basketball coach stuff a couple of years ago. The hiring of Coach Slingblade. Wtf else does Stricklin need to f*ck up to get fired?
