Our next coach is going to inherit a top 10 roster and they know it.

This loss was all on Napier. Every time I say that he won’t run the same play again, he fricking does.

I have no idea how the rest of the season will go.

But for sure Napier has not been throwing deep down field. He has the WR to stretch the field and lagway has the arm to do it so I hope we see that going forward.

Also as much as I have complained about the defense and the O-line
The defense has improved significantly. They played more then well enough to win the Tenner game.
I hope they continue to get better.

The O-line although not a very good unit has improved since the Miami game. Obviously not as much as the defense and at times play bad but at least they are improving.
Special teams is still a disaster
You know you do not have a time out why would you not have your field goal unit huddled right next to Napier ready to run in when they need too.
I am not sure what the thinking was for that.

Hopefully Lagway can remain composed with what GAs defense is going to throw at him.

No doubt after last night Napier will be here next year

Still with special team issues. I don't get the problem with special teams week after week year after year. This shouldn't be happening week after week

But for sure if the Florida team we saw last night is the team we see the rest of the way. They will upset a team or 2 and beat Florida state.

Napier will be the coach here next season if he is 6-6 or 7-5 then get bowl practice. Florida could be really scary next season

Fools gold

Look at who we've beaten. Teams we greatly out talent.

Billy is still Billy.

We will waste Lagway for 2 seasons and then Billy will fall apart when Lagway goes pro. Will probably get another season to "turn it around" and then get fired in 2029-30.

We won't be relevant until the 2040s.

We have played 2 of the better defenses the past couple of weeks though. I hope the defense improving isn't just fools gold though.

I don't think it totally is, the guys are playing with more energy that can't be denied.

I still don't buy that they've really turned the corner, we've played some of the worst offenses in CFB in UCF, UK, and yes, Tennessee is terrible on offense.

UCF and Tennessee were #1 and #2 in the country in rushing offense before UF played them

Tennessee did that running up the score on the likes of Kent State and fcs Chattanooga.

Statistically they were highly ranked putting up 17 on those teams, but once they started SEC play they've been exposed as a pretty bad offense with an inaccurate, inexperienced QB.

Our defense has improved because crap offenses like UK, UCF, Tenn used to light us up. See Miss State game for example. So it's not for nothing that we've improved, we have. Just improved from terrible to probably average.

I said that I was going to refrain from criticizing Napier for 2 weeks after the win Saturday night, but that doesn't mean I can't still ask a few questions.

1) Why would you kick to a guy that has 4 RFT in his career?
2) Why in the red zone would you continue to call the same plays that haven't worked all season, although Saturday some of them did?
3) Why would you not try to score at the end of the half when you got the ball with 90 seconds left and 2 TOs?
4) Why do you tease us like this when we know that in all likely hood that the Gators will still be 5-7 and you are likely still getting fired?

Great win against Kentucky, showed some improvement, but Beck, Ewers, Nussmeier and Dart will not miss the open receivers running all over the field and at the end of the day Lagway completed 50% of his passes. The phrase, "fools gold," comes to mind.

Can the same AI that programmed that video utilize an algorithm for calling plays?
