I am of the same view I have always been. He has to show something in 2024. You can't be going 6-6/7-5 three straight years at UF. It is concerning he doesn't seem to have hardly any game management skills though. That carried over from the issues with it last season.

I agree, Billy will have to do more with less and win some games. No moral victories. Some say 6-7 wins, but we know that won't and shouldn't cut it at Florida. Especially with the way the team actually looks on the field.

A better product on the field AND wins this year are the only thing that'll save him from getting fired at halftime during the first game next year.

Is this a strength and conditioning problem or undisciplined problem?

I think Desmond Watson could be a much better player if he was at say 375 why can't they seem to get his weight down or do at this point do they even care.

I just think it would be beneficial to Watson as well as the team

I think the main issue on the line is we might not have anyone good at pressuring the QB though Banks generated decent pressure a few times from his DT position. I am curious how Princely did last season once Cox was gone. Was he getting good pressure against our SEC foes and FSU etc after that. I know they had a TE helping a lot but you still have to be able to get some pressures on the QB from that position.

I say we make a play for coach prime next year. They look prepared and motivated.

Yes I agree with much less talent.

A whole transfer portal team and not that TCU is going to be what are we're last year obviously they will be down this year. Colorado looks so much better then Florida in there first game on the road against TCU. Honestly this makes Napier in his second year look really bad I'm sorry it does. I'm really sick at my stomach after watching what Colorado just did!!

We better hope the rumor about our young RB leaving either due to the offense being a mess or just wanting more NIL isn't true.

Yep it's crazy how mess like that can easily turn into reality in the age of NIL. I do remember when that Grier stuff was posted before the media reported on it.

Honestly if this is something we are going to have to worry about every time Florida losses, then he might as well go-ahead and go. Because it's not going to get much better. Look all around the country right now with all these teams playing nobody and dominating them like they should.now I can say we did play a good Utah team on the road. Maybe the game is much different with out all the Mental Mistakes or maybe not.

This team can get better as season goes along. Will find out in 2 weeks what this team is made of.

Looking at the guy's actual post it appears it's him chasing NIL but why wait until the season starts for mess like that. I consider it minor league NFL now with what is going on.

If we don't get our running game going I have a bad feeling about that game. Tenn can get after the QB and George appears to be a liability if faced with any speed.

Tell Stricklin to raise the 30+ million, to buy out Napier .... and when he does, fire him too. That was the most poorly coached game at UF, possibly ever

I don’t see Napier getting let go after this year. CFB is largely about talent and he has only had one full recruiting cycle. He does need to address ST and his own offense after the season. He needs to either get more spread out offensively or get a new play caller.

I'm hoping that they use this coming Saturday to clean up things and get better.

I hope they are already practicing for the hurry up because this defense as is would give up 50.

Tenner in my opinion is a must win football game. Then Tucky on the road is a must win ball game as well.if they want to have any hope of getting to 6 to 7 wins.if they lose both of those games 4 to 5 wins will be max that they win this year.

Just saw this. I wish Billy would have this kind of mentality in the locker room.

I really think aftercare season he is going to have to swallow his pride and tell Sale he is associate head coach and O-line only and go out and get a real OC.
I don't see any QB including Lagway after seeing this Offense spitvand sputter wanting to play in this offense.

5-7 or worse and I think forcing an OC on him will be almost a lock.

I agree. If the team, not just the players, look this putrid all year, the only way Napier survives the offseason, recruiting season and next year will be the promise of a dedicated OC and ST coach.

He's a great CEO, but game management needs an overhaul. I think he's smart enough to realize the necessary changes that'll keep him coaching Florida.

Tonight is proof positive why it's retarded to give up on Napier after just 1 game in his 2nd season. Imagine if FSU had fired Norvell after he lost to an FCS team a couple of years ago.
