I do think he has potential for some sets where he lines up at WR.

I do agree with your overall premise - hes by far our most explosive back.

I am really excited about Montrell Johnson though - I think Napier was spot on with the LeVeon Bell comparison.

One change id like to see on special teams this week…

Etienne or Lingard returning kickoffs instead of Hendo.

I like Hendo much better fielding punts, but on kickoffs id prefer someone else

Yeah I am not crazy about Hendo on Kickoffs.

It doesn't seem like he has a good feel for it.

He did great shifting his way to get a few first downs however. Liked what I saw from him besides KR.

After watching LSU, as long as he catches the ball I’m happy lol

Speaking of special teams we better be ready this week as KY's kickoff returner got a TD with the fastest recorded speed this week (22 mph). Their punt returner almost had a TD also.

Fans on Kentucky forums are claiming that they have more speed at WR than they've ever had before and that they'll light us up with the passing game.

Some of them also think that they're significantly more talented than Utah and should win convincingly, so we'll see if their beliefs about their time are aligned with reality.

The Gators need to kick their arses!

Lol if they wanna have Levis drop back 30+ times go ahead.

That plays right into the strength of the UF defense.

They are certainly faster than Utah. Especially in the front 7. Bigger too. That's an athletic defense.

The skill players on the outside are a TON better than Utah's. TE's not so much. Obviously the run game looks a LOT weaker.

I just watched the Kentucky game vs Miami O. Unless they vastly improve, the Gators should win by 20.
Just don’t turn the ball over or kick to #9

Florida 31
Kentucky 19

Imo. Defense comes up big and again bends but doesn’t break.

AR hits 1 long ball TD and shuts up a bunch of people questioning his passing.

They have some really fast guys that aren't that big. I think Marshall and Helm have enough speed to keep them in check and they are definitely tall enough. They worry me more returning kickoffs and punts.

Under Stoops, they've been giving us their A-Game almost every game.

Thoughts so far:

Defense has been pretty solid, a pleasant surprise.

Offense has been jekyl and hyde.

Special teams, not bad but not special either.

If, two weeks ago, you told me that we'd be 1-1 at the end of week 2, I'd be content with that. I just thought that AR would've lifted a poor playing team to victory but not over come the poor team to overcome a loss. But yesterday his poor play was the main cause of the loss. Hope he, and the staff, can learn from yesterday and get better. With even subpar qb play, I think that Kentucky game was winnable, but AR really crapped the bed, no way to sugar coat it.

Besides UTenn, we have a pretty favorable schedule from USF to Mizzou. Can get at least 2 wins practically guaranteed with Mizzou very winnable. Tenn will be tough, especially on the road.

It was a good thing Utah didn't get to see us play KY first or they would have changed some things up on defense I think.

UKs LBs were infinitely better than Utahs.

Pretty big difference in talent and experience.

I know it's only 3 games into the Napier era, but I really am feeling like he needs to get an OC.

Even Kiffin, who's considered one of the top offensive minds out there, has hired good OC's with Lebby last year.

Napier is definitely no Kiffin with the offense, and he needs to admit that, or he might not make it.
