Yeah, first real big surprise from today. Everyone felt pretty good with him.

No idea, the story was his family got to him to stay close to home. Obviously that's not the case. Last staff really hurt us with him, but most thought we made up enough ground to get it done.

I mean it's pretty sad that American Heritage has 2 five star corners and neither had a Florida hat on the table...All thanks to butters and his shitty recruiting.

We have to work hard to take the State back. We really need Gour and Copeland or signing day was a major bust.

We still need some bodies at LB and the DL, then the OL and maybe Copeland. We've already got quite a few WR prospects that could work out immediately and put a bandaid over the wound.

NSD is always chaos.

For bad coaches it is. Winning coaches close on NSD.

Here is what is left:

Copeland at 2
Caleb Johnson at 2:30
Gouraige at 2:45
Langham at 3:30

Gerald ?
Lovett ?

The hardest part is seeing our rivals close strong. FSU may go from 67th to top 10 I nba transition year, UGA is having one of the best classes ever and been recruiting well since Kirby got there. Their is a talent gap we will need to overcome. Next year will be big and tell us what we need to know. I still trust in the process and I believe in this staff.

Not surprised. His dad was making the day himself instead of his son.

With Ross going to Clemson that gives Copeland a spot at bama. Hope he signs with the good guys at 2.

Next year is really going to be the class to judge Mullen. It is hard for me to be too harsh in a transition year, as shitty as you may think NSD is going. He's been very active with the 2019 guys, hopefully a year of building relationships will pay off.

And it's not like we didn't just fire our HC half-way through the season and have a 4 - 7 year. Outside of the Offensive line (if Gouraige doesn't sign) we've signed an elite blue chip player to every skill position on offense.

QB - Emory Jones
RB - Dameon Pierce
WR - Grimes
WR - Van Jefferson
WR - Watkins
WR - Copeland(?)
OL - Gouraige(?)
TE - Kyle Pitts

Even on defense it ain't so bad, wish we would have gotten a true DT but I think meeting needs is more important than the final score.

If we get Copeland, Gouraige and Langham that will be a nice finish. It's too bad Gerald isn't announcing until Friday.

A lot of NSD eve and NSD drama. Y'all are getting everyone. I might ask DMB to ban every dawg Fan out of spite.

Hey, at least we are doing it to Bama and UT and not UF on these guys.

We need the East to get it's shite together.

We played a LOT of frosh/true sophs last year and it will show on the field this year. We have plenty of defensive talent that some of you guys forget or dismiss. You just expect the yellow school bus to drop off high school kids at the Swamp ready to play or start....hmmm NO...that's not how it works. Taven didn't play much at all early on...but worked his butt off to be a possible late first round or early second rounder.

Remember Alex MacCallister? Came to UF as a 6'6" 210 lb skinny DE and was what? A first rounder? He didn't play right away either...but the training table and weight room cranked out a pass rushing monster....better than the heralded Dante Fowler.

I swear some of you guys need to be offshore with me in 6-8 footers and see how you fare. Get real and be positive....we are the Gators and we will be ok. Mullen was not my choice...but I'll support him and so far so good. He is bringing energy to the locker room and has a damn good staff.

Lets see how his gameday planning and play selection is and how he adopts to the talent of the players looks in 2018.

I have way more faith in Mullen converting talent than many other coaches just because he was able to get MSU to be pretty physical.

We need desperate help on the offensive line, though, and that's the only one where I'm worried.

The reason y'all aren't doing it to us is because Mcelwain was never in the running for the elite talent that y'all are getting.
