Missing on NPF hurts, but Oline is the one area stars aren't as big overall so it may be okay. We must land Gouraige though. Must.

Watkins - Copeland - Would have the best WR core since 2008. No Percy, but Toney is pretty slick.

Shocked Chatfield is that high to UF. Lamar I thought we gained ground on during our visit.

Crossing fingers. Tomorrow is a big day. It is a transition class though. So we may miss on a few we expect. Will suck, but 2019 will measure Mullen's recruiting capacity fully.

Chatfield to Florida is almost a done deal. INK'S DRY (just for comedic measure).

Apparently Nesta is still way in the picture, and is giving enough feedback to be recruited completely.

Keep in mind: I don't agree with all of those percentages, it's just nice to have it summed up like that.

And I wouldn't count, or count anyone out until they literally sign the LOI tomorrow. You just never know these days.

I'm hearing the buzz on Nesta too. Kid is a freak. Would love to land him and Chat.

Please Straw....no more done deals. These are 17-18 yr olds for the most part and I'm around that age group a lot. They change their minds about every 15 minutes.

NPF isn't going to win us hardware for at least two years or three. Kid is 265 lbs. We need bonafide DL & LBs to help us in 2018 or 2019.

I don't know. Our issue has been development of offensive line and a lot of bad S&C the last few years.

Players like NPF with good coaching and S&C are first round, top ten talents. Hevesy can't recruit, but he can coach for sure we've seen him here and at Miss State put very good lines together. Immediate needs next year are a concern, and despite the former staff absolutely sucking on the defensive side this year recruiting wise, we look like we may end up with a good defensive class.

Doesn't dwindle the significance of a marque OT. Ask NFL teams that draft them with number 1 overall picks. A top tier OT is insanely valuable.

I was being sarcastic.

Also what I've said over and over again, to not count or discount anything until LOIs are signed.

He's a great player, there's no doubt about it, but there have been a lot of scouts saying that he indeed needs serious coaching up, more size and needs work on his footwork. Apparently he got a little exposed at the UAAA.

Andrew Ivins on Miami247 It's unclear at the time if Nesta Silvera will stick by his pledge to Miami. Like I wrote on Monday night, the folks in Coral Gables aren't as confident as they once were that he inks with the Hurricanes.

How our list could pan out. Good guess from 24/7 poster. I'm adding Silvera to us.

QB - Jones - 85th nationally - 5th Dual QB - 4
RB - Pierce - 201st nationally - 8th overall RB - 4
Ath - Clement - 329th nationally - 16th ath - 4
WR - Grimes - 41st nationally(2017) - 6th WR - 4
WR - Copeland - 69th nationally - 12th WR - 4
WR - Watkins - 89th nationally - 16th WR - 4
WR - Jefferson - 104th nationally(2016) - 11th WR - 4
TE - Pitts - 161st nationally - 5th TE - 4
TE - Lang - 632 nationally - 29th TE - 3 star lower rated
OLine - Gouraige - 81st - 7th OT - 4
Oline - Banks - 21st JUCO - 5th OT - 3 star
Oline - Chris Beliech - 456 - 34 OT - My pick for biggest gem
Oline - Griffin Mcdowell - 1479 - 22 OC - 3(very low)
DL - Silvera - 54th - 2 DT - 4
DL - Langham - 315th - 14 DE - 4
DL - Gerald - 27 JUCO - 1 WDE - 3
LB - Chatfield - 213 - 13 WDE - 4
LB - David Reese - 297 national - 20 OLB - 4
DB - Burney - 177 - 14th S - 4
DB - Trey Dean - 195 - 17th - 4
DB - Boykin - 364 - 34 CB - 4
DB - Huggins - 417 - 28 S - 3
K - McPherson - 1 overall kicker - 3 star

Let's say this is what we get.

We have covered almost every immediate need. That is spectacular for a transition class WITH ESP.

Would have 3 top 100 WR's added to our team. One proven in the SEC in Jefferson just outside as well.
QB of the future
Top ten TE and RB
Top ten OT and depth at offensive line
Added a good secondary group with three four stars.
Nation's best kicker
Really strong linebacker group

This would be a really, really good class for such a "bad recruiter"

16 four stars - Six being in the top 100(not including a top kicker, who's stars would be four or five at any other position).
7 three stars

That I would be completely okay with. No five stars hurts, but in the end, it's a transition class and we only had ground with two before the new staff came in.

If we got the class you just posted I’d be extremely happy. Would bring a lot of excitement for Dan and what he can do in the 2019 class.

If that's a TJ shot, I will concede that he's not all about 5 stars -- and that he has said in the past that he's more concerned with the Blue Chip ratio.

This would be an extremely solid class if we could get over 50% Blue Chips.
