Mullen visiting Fields

This is so stupid, man. We're risking Corral for someone who is already committed. Corral literally put and kept this class together. Is there no sense of loyalty anymore? :(

If a QB is afraid of competition, do we want him? Thats always been my stance on these things. You hear of recruits getting butthurt because the school looked in the direction of another kid, in that case im fine with them moving on. Shows lack of confidence imo

Yes. Fields is the perfect QB for Dan Mullen.

I love Corral, but for Mullen...FIelds is a Heisman QB

It has nothing to do with confidence, this is stratgey- Go see who follows who on Twitter. Almost all of the four stars on offense are connected to Corral in one way or another -- Copeland committed and will possibly recommit because of Corral.

We already have a good quarterback who has shown us he's a leader and will stick with the program through thick and thin when the rest were jumping ship. Taking on a guy who only wants to be a Gator because it's the hot name is not a type of player we want at Florida.

We already have a QB in the top 5 in the country with connections all over the place (including his 5* at his school), what does Fields possess that could possibly risk us several 4*s and a 5* receiver???

A lot of us Georgia people agree with Straws here (first time for everything).

Very curious since there is very little of any chance of Fields flipping. Have to figure Corral feels disrespected. Perhaps Mullen doesn't think Corral is a fit and has other targets he views as better options? Take your shot at Fields and then move on to more realistic system fits?

If there is a chance for Mullen to pull in Fields he has to do it. Mullen’s job is to a build a championship team. I’d love for Corral to be a part of that too, but he needs to do what he thinks is best.

And I see nothing with a school not locking onto one QB, Who knows if Corral flips last min or not? If so and we dont look around due to his feelings we're fricked.

Again, its a business. He looked at Bama, kinda hypocritical for him to get his feelings hurt now.

I think Corral will be OK, he’s in the loop. Mullen has to gauge Fields’ interest, the kid is built for what he wants to do.

Fields possesses the abilities of a can't miss recruit. That perfectly fits our new system. I mean the guy is a Heisman contender in year two here. That level of hype.

Mullen has probably already talked to Corral and let him know he is looking forward to having him, but also needs to recruit more QBs. If Corral doesn’t like that it’s a personal choice he has to make.

If he's a real one he'll be excited about the competition

It is not unusual to sign more than one QB in a class. We need QBs that can play in Mullen's offense. 2 top five QBs would be great for competition.

I don't think he will, no. But it's worth a try.

can't do it that way straws. no one is entitled to anything. it's called competition. the loser red shirts and still gets two years as a starter after the other goes after their jr year. not sure what the problem is.
