I read on other boards how they want to be "entertained" WTF?
Go to a damn fricking movie then. I wanna win. I am not happy with the results so far...but its freaking year TWO for God's sakes. And recruiting does NOT equate to winning. A prime example would be Richts class about 7-8 yrs ago after going 6-7 and losing to UCF in a bowl game, Richt signed the # 2 average ranked recruiting class.
Did he win the SEC? No. What he did in desperation was sign some borderline recruits and it backfired on his azz. One was Crowell who Bama and UGA were neck and neck with and he signed with UGA and his frosh year was caught with drugs and a stolen gun. Bama wised up and dropped him and then UGA had their crown jewell...the numero uno RB.
We dont need that shite. Id rather lose than stoop to taking thugs like that. Meyer did that at times and he lost control of the lockeroom even with Tebow at the end of his years.
I remember how bad it was in 2009 when Tebow was a senior and we went 12-0 but we had lost a lot of weapons from the BCS NC team the year before....we didnt pound hardly anyone and fans were bitching because we didnt win by enough points...WTF? It was sad.
Mac doesnt need to be blamed for anything...YET. If we dont see some noticeable improvement on offense in 2017? Then I will be concerned....but again for the umpteenth time, unless we implode...he will be back in 2018. So why not support OUR coach? Novel idea...I know I know.

Look at the overall star ratio and avg. Rating. Right now uga sits at 93 and we're 88. They've got 39 4-5 recruits in 1.5 years while Mac has gotten 30+ 3*s in 2.5 classes. 4-5* classes curb stomp 3* classes 90% of the time. Look at the top 10 what do you see? SEC schools and FSU. Kirby maybe a bad coach but Mac isn't much better. More importantly they're getting quality players and depth. We're throwing poo at a wall and hope it sticks with offers going out left and right trying to fill needs. It's going to implode big time. Mac can't rely on WM stacked defenses to bail him out anymore.

The same way the defense Saved Will ??
Looking at Rivals, a ranking of 5.8 is a 4 star player, we currently have 8. We have 3 3 stars with a rating of 5.7. So it looks to me Mac is finding good value. How many guys have we recruited early that noone knew about in the beginning but then towards the end of the cycle teams like Bama started trying to flip -Perine-. So for now I'm willing to trust the staff and hopefully one of our young QB's are ready to play next season.
BTW, We currently have the same amount of 4 star players as FSU, they have more 3's. ... just sayin.
Ill say it again, as long as we fill needs idgaf about class rankings.

He'll never get it. He rode the WM train up until it went off the rails. Even then he wanted to give him more time.

Yes it does. I am not on the bandwagon with the fire everyone people but this statement it wrong if you want to compete for championships on the reg.

There's no point in supporting a HC if they're about to get fired. Just like Foley screwing UF giving WM a 4th yr. There's no point in continuing to keep making the same mistakes. Just cut bait and begin again. Our recruiting is getting worse. Most reasonable fans know Mac isn't the answer. He'll be gone at the end of next year if Stricklin is smart.

By your logic, Saban wouldve been fired at Bama before he turned it around.
A Coach has to have time to build a program up. I guess I have to remind you again we are just a few seasons away from a 4 win season. Everyone says a HC needs at least 3 years minimum. You saying we should fire a HC after 2 seasons with 2 East titles just makes you look foolish.

Saban went 12-0 in year 2 with a sugar bowl appearance. He wasn't going anywhere.

Im saying in his first season when they lost like 4 straight TJ wouldve been ready to move on.

And Saban lost to Louisiana Monroe or SW or Lafayette City ro whatever....sure he did go 12-0 in his second year and then got his shite pushed in by Utah in the Sugar Bowl..TJ would have been howling.

It was ULM he lost to. I was still in school that year and one of the biggest parties we ever had that night lol

Yeah...couldnt remember which La school and was too lazy to look it up. I used to live in Jefferson Parrish and had a cajun g/f...we went to red stick a few times and Im watched us beat the tigahs in 1983, remember going to Lafayette to see her cousin a few times...wasnt that SW Louisiana? There sure were a lot of girls there, prettier than LSU girls.

Saban had a track record winning at LSU. Mac does not. Plus he brought in great classes. Mac isn't. There's a huge difference.

Yeah, lets compare every HCs resume' to Saban. Theres plenty of guys with his accomolishments walking around.
You really try so hard. To the point it makes you look really foolish

You have never supported Mac and never supported Muschamp. That says a lot about the kind of fan you are. Fans support the coach of their team, because if he's successful then the team you say you love is successful. That's what should matter, your team winning games and championships no matter who the coach is.
You don't support Florida coaches because you're not a Florida fan. Hell, even after Muschamp got fired, I was rooting like hell for him to beat FSU. And I rooted for him to win every game before he got fired as well. There's a difference in supporting your team and hoping the team wins but also hoping coach gets fired if your team will hire someone else who can do a better job and win more games, and someone like you, who roots against the school and wants the coach fired and wants the team to lose every game no matter who the coach is so you can claim that you were "right".
Please get your trolling out of the recruiting thread and allow the people who actually root for Florida to be successful to discuss recruiting here. Thanks, bitch.

I didn't support zook, WM or Mac because they're not good coaches it's that simple. Not supporting a coach isn't mutually exclusive to supporting a team. Something You can't grasp. I don't want uf to lose I just know Mac isn't good at winning big games and is taking us in the wrong direction. I have never rooted against uf that's your projection. Fail.
I guess these people aren't real fans only you and reel

Key OL recruit Kadeem Telfort says recent official visit to Florida sold him on Gators
Ryan Young RYAN YOUNG
SEC Country Staff
MIRAMAR, Fla. — Offensive lineman Kadeem Telfort has been committed to Florida for quite a while, but he admitted he was still only 80-85 percent sure of his college choice before he made his official visit to Gainesville two weekends ago.
When he left, however …
“My sense (was) it’s over. I don’t have to worry about the process anymore,” Telford said Sunday during an interview in his home.
While he’s relieved to have the recruiting process behind him and eager to enroll early at Florida the first week of January, Gators coaches have to be every bit as relieved and eager to get Telfort on the roster.
The 6-foot-7, 310-pound 4-star recruit from Booker T. Washington High School gives the Gators a potential impact addition at one of their greatest areas of need, along the offensive line. He’s a natural tackle, though he said he has played guard before as well.
Florida has shown a willingness — or perhaps more so a need — to start true freshmen along the offensive line the last two years (see Martez Ivey, Fred Johnson and Tyler Jordan in 2015 and Jawaan Taylor this season). And that’s Telfort’s intent.
“When I started watching their games, I realized that the coaches weren’t lying about (how) they really need help and I could come in and make an impact,” he said. “My opportunity, since I’m coming in early, they said I have seven months to fight for a No. 1 spot. So I feel like seven months is enough for me to come out on top.”
Telfort, ranked the 27th best offensive tackle prospect nationally by the 247Sports composite, drew 20 scholarship offers and is one of the most important pieces in the Gators’ recruiting class.
He was committed to hometown Miami early in the process before attending a camp at Florida prior to his junior season and getting on the Gators’ radar. He said their scholarship offer came a couple months later and he’s been committed to UF since July 2015.
But, of course, commitments never stop other schools from pursuing their coveted targets.
Right up until the start of the dead period this month, Telfort said he would receive 3-4 recruiting calls a day. Baylor jumped in late after new head coach Matt Rhule was hired Dec. 6, and Louisville has maintained its push throughout the process.
“Baylor came in last minute because the Temple coaching staff was there, so they felt they couldn’t get me at Temple, now that they have a bigger name, a bigger brand to broadcast, they felt like they could get me there,” Telfort said. “I told them straight up, ‘You guys came in kind of late in the process.'”
Louisville, who was the second school to offer him overall, was his runner-up, he said, but the Gators maintained the edge.
“Based off the visit and the connection with the coaches,” Telfort said. “… The official visit was great. They had a lot of stuff, they put my highlights together and played it on the board. They had me take pictures in the uniform, video shoot and everything.”
That official visit to Florida two weekends ago sold not only Telfort, but his mother Gerta Telfort as well.
“It got emotional for me when I went to UF,” she said. “I saw the field, The Swamp. I walked on The Swamp, and when they showed the video on (the video board) of all his (highlights) I got emotional and went into tears. And he was like, ‘Mom, what are you crying for?’ It’s just the simple fact that you would want your child to succeed, especially at something they’ve wanted ever since they were a child. So when you see that, you get so overwhelmed.”
Telfort will live out his dream at Florida, while the Gators’ coaches might be able to sleep a little easier now with the coveted offensive linemen in the fold and eager to make an immediate impact.
