I'm still hearing it didn't have anything to do with classes. They didn't allow press access to any of our QBs even tho they specifically asked to talk to them from what I understand.

Everyone is screaming for Joyner to start, and screaming to see him. I’m honestly wanting to see Urich. Tall, athletic, has a great build and frame for the position, and has a bit of a better grasp for the college game and from what I’ve heard, a stronger arm.

They were saying he was receiving treatment and then had a class. Who knows. Can't blame him for keeping his distance. Dude has been tormented. I think a lot of those were clemsun fans pretending to be SC fans. Attacks on Jake were way too vicious and personal. If they were Gamecock fans, they need their asses kicked.

I was just going by what the guys from 247 and the others were tweeting. Did we hold the PC at a different time this week than normal? Bentley usually leads off

I don't twitter. It's what Muschamp said to start the presser. Bentley was having a treatment at the time of press availability, and then had class.

Do you guys trust Muschamp or Twitter rumors?

I take everything with a grain of salt. Muschamp always protects his players and he should.

Have a feeling if either one of those plays everyone will be begging for Bentley to come back fast.

I would rather see bad play from freshman than from a 3 year starter

I’m up for anyone athletic than can run the RPO
I just question how Hilinski will translate to this offense.
Will it be another Connor Mitch?

They weren’t Clemson fans.
Most likely drunk USC fans.
It happens all over (well except Vandy) in this conference

Can’t really do anything about it

7TD and 6INT... id take that from the freshman because they would probably have 300+ rushing and a few TDs there too. But Bentley, yeah he can run a bit, but he isn’t a threat to anyone on the ground. Last year I said we needed to rely more on the pass, teams know we are a passing offense, even ESPN announcers have said it, we are a tempo passing offense. If we’re going to be that, we need a QB to make good decisions.

This system BMac is running, I actually really like it. I love the play calling honestly. I think that it was a great promotion because if you look, guys are open, the defense is confused and questioning themselves, but Bentley is making horrible reads and throwing into coverage or just being inaccurate.

All those jumping on BMac for play calling need to really go back and look... the plays are successful, but the decision making needed to run them isn’t there from jake.

By the way, since Missouri isn’t ranked, who’s prepared for, IF jake plays, 300+ passing and 3TD passes?

Not sure if it’s here but haven’t seen anyone here criticize Mac.
It’s mostly if not all been Jake on this site

I’ve seen criticism of BMac all around... I generally don’t post much because I work all the time, but lately, I’ve had a lot more time to join in. I’ve jumped on the defense of BMac and Muschamp repeatedly, except in the continued playing of Bentley without any reprocussions for bonehead plays.

If a linebacker shoots the wrong gap and leaves a running lane wide open, you pull him and coach him up. Same with a RB in pass pro. Why not with the QB?

“Experience” doesn’t mean much when you regress through that experience.

I’m a huge proponent of talent over experience
I know i sound like a broken record but the game is changing
Kids are coming in a lot more talented than they used to.
Freshmen can ball and I would bet that true freshmen are making a much bigger impact in the game today than they did say 10 years ago

I am not discrediting what you heard or what Muschamp said at all, but those guys on twitter who attend every PC know how those things work. Bentley was having treatment during his press availability, so that's simply what I stated. Probably a good thing that they kept him away from the media this week.
