A team going 16-16 but finished 4th in the confrence does nit say much about that conference. We win in the SEC but lose ooc tells me our conference was way over rated this year.
We do have some decent young talent but who is taking Chris's place next year?
Plus Frank just lost another high 4 star talents who is from Columbia. We didn't lose him to duke or Kentucky. We lost him to georgia.

Frank's refusal to play ball with the AAU handlers is going to get him fired. At this point, I honestly just assume that if a kid is worth a shite and from SC, he'll go to some other slapdick SEC program.
It's frustrating, but it's where we are.
Next year is going to be hard to watch. Gravett has been money this year, and Silva is one of the best to ever play here. Kotsar is a puss, and Haase is a changeup player. There will be a huge void here next fall, and we'll be hoping for the NIT again.

I disagree. I think we just lost to some shite arse teams in the OCC that would easily finished behind us if they played an SEC schedule.

Our conference was top heavy. We got to play some of the worst sec teams multiple times which led to our 4th ranked place.
You dont lose to " shite arse ooc" teams then beat confrence teams and declare your confrence was strong.

Now next year is going to be more of the same, based off of whats coming back and coming in. How much longer does Frank get?

I’m pretty ambivalent about Frank going forward. I don’t want him to leave or to be fired, but the lack of progress in MBB falls squarely on him - and it’s hard to picture him suddenly deciding to change his recruiting tactics at this point. Leaves a very shaky feeling about the future of this team, and it stinks to endure as a fan.
We did better than expected this year, but it’s the fact that we were expected to do so terribly despite being 2 years removed from the Final Four is what is troubling.
No uptick in recruiting, and no realistic game-changing prospects for the foreseeable future. I truly believe next year has to be NCAAT or bust, or else we’re doomed to the perpetual mediocrity that we’ve experienced for a majority of our lives.

Frank is a great Xs and Os coach- elite, even. And a wonderful developer of men.
But he can't/won't recruit at a Barnes/Pearl/Crean level, and that's who he's up against. I'm with you on the ambivalence. It leaves me wanting more, but knowing it's not going to happen.

I agree that Frank is a great game day coach but when you can't even get good recruits from your own back yard it doesn't bode well.
I like Frank , from a personal standpoint, but it's time to make a change. I want the Nevada coach.

Even with the final four, Frank's comment about the fans rubbed me the wrong way.
This is the SEC buddy, we are football first except Kentucky.
I mean shite I watched a few LSU games this year and that arena was EMPTY.
