Agree @scrooster about Kroeger and committing this weekend or shortly afterwards. I think the only thing remaining is Mom's blessing. Some of our fans will go off the rails because it's not a "sexy" position or a 5* but this will be a great pickup. He's the second rated punter in the country and a lefty at that. With Joseph Charlton being a senior. this is a position of need and Kroeger looks like a good one.

A punter that can flip the field is worth his weight in gold.

I'm glad you said it. I've been feeling/thinking the same thing lately.
Hopefully optimistic, but we've been burned to many times in big recruiting battles.
Fingers crossed.

The only way we're getting Burch is if we win 9 games this year.
We're going to be in it until the end of his recruitment, but at this point in time, it's either Clemson or UGA.
Having said that, I think our pursuit of Kinsler probably has more to do with us just whiffing on Murphy.

Everyone seems to have their speculations on Burch. Since he and his family reveal nothing, these are all WAGs. If he wants rings and championships, he' not coming here. If he wants to be a program changer, he will be a Gamecock. He's never said what's important to him so it's impossible to know. I admire the way the family is handling the process.
Bailey is probably the next man up after missing on Murphy.

If Burch doesn’t pull the trigger for Clemson this weekend, or shortly afterwards, then it might go until February, who knows.
What I do know though is Clemson right now is operating under the premise of being invincible. Low injury rate playing in the ACC, they get through their regular season schedule relatively unscathed. That has to change.
If A&M upsets them, if we upset them, then that automatically changes their dynamic and that’s important. More important for us to beat them than anyone.
We need to win eight or nine games and one of those need to be against Clemson.

Our most valuable recruiter right now might be Jackson Muschamp...

Rooster - 8 wins would be a wildly successful season. I’ve never had such a wide range of possible win totals before a season. If our defense isn’t better this year we could win as little as 3 and if the defense is much improved I see a max of 8 wins.
I hope it doesn’t take 8 wins to land Burch. That is a tall order right now.

Would be a solid pickup but imo just another red flag that we're not getting Burch. Damn I hope I have to eat crow.

WSDE vs SSDE. Apples/Oranges. (I'm deluding myself...)

This has zero to do with Burch. We would take them both plus Murphy if he wanted to flip.

I heard from one of my Wednesday morning breakfast crew this morning (I missed the meeting this week) on his way to his beach house .... and he seemed pretty confident, still, that we are about to get Grimes. He’s fairly connected and not prone to exaggeration or such. I dunno.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Don’t take the drops to personally. Those sites need higher profile kids to be uncommitted to drum up sales. Unless the are Bama or OSU commits

They've got Feaster's locker already set up in the football ops building as of this morning.

Saw that on twitter. Some fans making such a big deal about "ruining" his moment.
He's a grad transfer. I highly doubt he sets up a press conference with hats sitting on a table.

Atlanta Sports Guy ruined his annoucement.
Not unless he was the one inside the locker room that took the pic. I seriously doubt Feaster will make a big deal out of his transfer. What aggravates me is that we have someone inside our program releasing information without approval from Coach Muschamp.

Derrell Bailey commits to VT.
