Nice hoping it comes through. What are the chances for DJ Daniel? I know in the past we've had great success with guys out of GMC

Who is absolutely positively still remaining on our board?

Sorrels
Cam
Robinson

Who else?

We've got seven to give right?

I keel hearing, "don't worry, we're going to close strong."

They put the clamps on everything over there today. Was hoping they would wait until after our Wednesday morning breakfast ... hope to get something in the morning but sheesh, guards are already in the lots.

Lock down is in effect.

If I know what names to ask about I have a better chance to dig something out.

The board as its Ben broke to me

Qb...done
Rb...done unless crouch wants in
Te...done
Wr...done Tyquan Johnson may take crouches spot but I personally think we need to eat that nli since he didn't qual
Ol....we still have Jakai Moore and Anthony Whigan JUCO, I want Moore and be done
DL...Sorrels and done
LB...done
DB..1. Cam(feel good here) 2. JR Walker safety, no so good as he is he teammates with Savion but looking up 3. Hill, still feel good but not as good as I did 2 weeks ago UT is a huge thorn 4. Mccullough we arent dead bit looking bad see hill 5. Dixon out of Miami, doubtful we get him either way

If we pull 6 of those 7 which is a stretch still leaves boom and Co room to flip one of we let Tyquan Walker walk...if no flips then take Walker again if he can qual.

This is as of now more will pop up as they always do

Saw this on 247 re: TJ...

"It looks like the 6-foot-3, 195 pounder will head to Fork Union in Virginia with hopes of enrolling at South Carolina in January. If that happens, it would essentially be considered a “delayed enrollment”, allowing him to still be counted against the 2018 class. He would also still arrive with five years to play four."

This is great news as he won't count against 2019. If he still doesn't qualify, then I'd say cut the cord.

Well, thanks guys. That's interesting because the board sure looks limited right now.

Of course, as it was told to me this morning. we may not take 25 this year and save one or two for this next class which is supposed to be our biggie.

If we only took 21-22 that woukd be okay provided we land four more really good ones in this class where we need them the most.

That's good news.

Hopefully nothing but 4*s, and Cam should be a 4* btw, the rest of the way unless they find a sleeper or two.

Looks like we're not expecting to sign 25. And that's okay knowing the 2020 class will be big.

Well, I guess we can add ZYKAMREN Robinson to the board.

5-11 225 RB out of Spartanburg. He got an offer. UT leads.

ETA: I also updated an earlier post about Luke Doty where I made a mistake and misheard something that was passed-on to me ... and it was I who misheard what I was told and made the mistake. Somehow I confused it in my nugget. Mea culpa. One of those things where I heard what I wanted to hear I guess. My wife says I do it to her all the time.

Just for discussions sake, I took a look at Ohio State’s current commitment list. There are a few kids that I feel are ripe for poaching during this Meyer fiasco.

A couple that stood out:

Harry Miller - 4* OL from Buford, GA. Seems to have been all OSU up to his commitment in June. We’ve offered him, so has UGA and Clemson.

Jordan Battle - 4* S from St Thomas Aquinas. Don’t believe we’ve offered, but he is teammates with current commits Vincent Murphy and Jahmar Brown.

Think our staff is considering making a push for any of these kids? Obviously about to be open season on OSU’s 2019 commitments.

I would imagine Boom has already got coaches making calls.

OSU is going to have a hard time holding their current class together plus they'll lose some to transfers I would think.

They are in a real mess up there. Heath Kline, who I was listening to on the way home today in a storm ... he had several guests on including one from Columbus and they were all saying this is not going to end well for OSU.

It's going to be interesting to watch how it goes down.

Damn good point though Bluefin. Maybe we'll snag one or two of those guys.

Doubtful imo we are locked in on the guys we have a shot at...the only guy is likely the safety

If he switches it will be to UGA or Stanford. Most likely Stanford if he gets in.

Y'all have an embarrassment of riches already. Howzabout let us have one or two?

I'm hoping Boom and Wolf go after Miller in a big way. I'm sure Bama is already on the phone with him as well.

He's practicing under the assumption that he is going to play this year.

Supposed to know by the 14th for sure but they believe he js going to be cleared to play this season.

Fingers crossed AG.

Saw some posts saying he weighed in at 359 lbs today. Any truth to that and does that make him more likely to red shirt this season? I figure with the new rules, he would at least get to play in 4 games.

Not a clue on the weight.

I said this last year but it's even moreso this year ... the clamp on info has been slammed tight over there under penalty of death.

I suspect a little will start trickling out soon, you can't stop all leaks.

He's got to be cleared before he can play. If he's cleared he'll get at least four games for sure.

Was told today that two kids in the conference have already received waivers to transfer and play. Same situations ... 2018 class, transferred after Spring ... already at their new schools. One of them was an OLineman I think, went from Vandy to Louisville if I remember correctly.
