Wil say Josh didn't keep himself in shape. The weight is legit, but if cleared will play 4 games.
Also Rooster you saying we won't sign 25 is true since we can only sign 23 with hynes and Belk counting on this year's class...cant count back anymore.

Also will say we are down to 5 guys we can take...sorrels and Cam Smith are locks...i thibk it's 6 green wont qualify

A good athlete. Three or four years older than Zachh. Might actually have some potential to contribute on special teams. Supposed to be fearless, a head hunter. I think he is transferring in from a small college maybe? I dunno. There is some info out there about him because the person who told me that read it somewhere. Mom is supposed to be really happy because this is the first time the boys will play together on the same team.

Not a good sign with regard to Belk. Not a self starter evidently, not self motivated. Dillmam will be so far up his arse he'll think he's getting a colonoscopy every day he walks into the weight room.
Well, either way, if Belk goes on this year then that opens another one up for the 2020 class so it all balances in the end. Honestly, if the transfer has been approved before the season begins ... I don't see how Belk is not being counted back on the 2018 class, not the 2019 class. Because we did not burn all of our 2018 LOIs.

Rooster...got a question for you a Dawg fan asked me. Any idea why we played Georgia in Athens three years in a row from '79-'81?

I sure do know why .... I remember it very well.
They played us twice in a row '77 and 78' ... so we had to play them three times in a row to even the series back out in order to make the contract balance between Dooley and Carlin.
I don't remember exactly why we got the two games in a row in '77 and '78. I seem to recall something about Dooley and Deitzel having worked something out in '69 and '70 that made things work themselves out in '77 and '78 but then Dooley did something, like around '74 or '75 that Carlin was willing to accommodate with the game to their place in '80 which, of course, proved very fortuitous for UGA in '80 because we would have beaten them in The Cock Pit in '80.

The weight was a few weeks to a month old, he is down to the 330s or lower now

We're supposed to get a verified weight after Saturday's practice.
Evidently he was being held out because of some missing approval from the medical staff ... not sure if it was weight related or not.
Tomorrow we'll have an official weight. Or, at least, they (T-Rob probably) are going to give us his weight after practice.

I was told Jammie and Cam Smith were silent commits last week. Guy that told me doesn’t have the best track record but does have some decent connections within the recruiting office.

I have not.
Last I heard about him was a week or so ago and was told TRob had visited with him and reenforced the relationship and everyone walked away still feeling good about him signing with us. May have been two weeks ago, I'll have to look back in this thread.
Something was going on down there last night. I got there about 7ish maybe, met with and talked-to who I had to talk-to then made my way out of the stadium and over to the Cockaboose. A friend stopped by from her condo when he saw my lights on ... we had a couple of drinks and then decided to go up on the deck for a little while. It started drizzling. We're sitting there and all of the sudden a bunch of kids, looked like prospects, came out ... or other they came from the IPF and were walking around the south end, that was about 9ish maybe. Saw a lot of new script Carolina under armour gear and I asked one of the big guys where he got it because I have not seen the script logo since the 80s ... and several of them smiled and said they had just gotten it or something.
I dunno, I didn't get into it too much with them about what was going on ... I was having too much fun just chillin'.
It got a little humid by that time so we went back downstairs. I really just wanted to see how the new tarp I put on was holding-up with all the rain.
