Should never have been hired to begin with.

He has absolutely destroyed any goodwill most Gamecocks had towards him due to what he accomplished while baseball coach thru his dumbfrick decisions while pretending to be an AD.

You legit just killed my night. I actually got excited reading Tanner was stepping down. Then I see your other comments saying never mind. I haven't felt that let down since prom night.

I’m just reporting from what one of our esteemed member/boosters/sources is telling us on the rant

Where has there been any mention of you recanting your statement that Ray is stepping down. I looked through your like and only saw SCRooster double down on what he said initially. Am I missing something?

Unfortunately, if this is the route we go down, it won't be surprising to me. I wish we can just clean the whole damn house but one brick out of the "good ol boy" system is a start.

That’s exactly what I said in the op...
I’m just forwarding what was over there by one of us, to here since I hadn’t seen it being discussed

I was just referring to when Halfcocked claimed you backed off your statement by saying "nevermind". Not sure where that was said but I didn't see it. Regardless, hoping the report by SCRooster is legit because Tanner has got to go.

This has been a rumor since the summer. Glad to hear it still has legs this late in the season

To be fair I thought the same thing

Idk if it’s what he meant to say, but it’s pretty easy to see how it’s interpreted that way.

It would be interesting to see where Caslen goes with this hire.

Bring Brad Edwards home? Maybe Caslen has a relationship with Danny White?

Both seem like great choices
I just hope they actually have resumes, unlike Ray

speaking of Athletic Directors ...is it just a coincidence that D-Rad and Sam the Eagle (Muppets) have never been seen in the same place at the same time?

...or are the one and the same?

Wasn’t that a name that was thrown around when we were looking?

Brad Edwards would be great buutt a AD is judged on the athletic department not just football. Mens bball looks solid. Womens bball is elite. Women just won sec tourny in soccer. The department is making money. So is Tanner as bad as everyone says or are we letting the football failure overrule everything else?

not that I was aware, but I didn't honestly pay that much attention as I figured any names not Ray were just lip service during Tanner's impending anointment.

D-Rad getting Tech slammed on 3 years probation right before he was 'relocated' to become head iptay-ter puppet is still one of the more curious administrative moves in recent times. he went from being an outlaw AD defying/not cooperating with NCAA officials - to holier than thou in the eyes of the NCAA in the span of 3 weeks.
