not necessarily your favorite (as there may be some losses on your list), just most entertaining from a neutral standpoint as if you were just a football fan watching from the couch. I have been to 12 such games, going every year from 2000-2011. Couldn't go last year (although that turned out to be good I guess!) Also, my descriptions will focus more on UGA accomplishments just because that's what I remember, it's not as a slight to SC. So without further ado here is mine, going from least entertaining to most:

12. 2003, 31-7 UGA. Pretty boring, it was 24-0 UGA with just a minute or 2 left before SC scored. UGA then returned the onside kick for a TD.

11. 2006, 18-0 UGA. Had some excitement with our starting QB going down and a true freshman Stafford coming off the bench to replace him on the road. However, he threw 3 picks, and SC couldn't do much. Pretty boring to watch.

10. 2000, 21-10 USC. Carolina controlled this one from the outset and it was never really close or in question. We threw 5 intercpetions. This ranks here and not lower because it snapped a losing streak in the series and SC tore down the goal posts. (Also, this was my first away game in another stadium [not counting jacksonville], so I will always remember it. Went with my dad.)

9. 2001, 14-9 USC. Had some pretty good drama towards the end, but overall was a little sluggish. UGA could do nothing but kick field goals and was down 7-6 late. SC was trying to run out the clock but fumbled which we returned deep, but just got a field goal to take a 9-7 lead. SC promptly drove all the way downfield and threw a TD in the corner for the win.

8. 2002, 13-7 UGA. Pretty similar to 2001 as far as lack of action. There was also a torrential downpour and a lengthy game stoppage. However, Ryan Brewer made some big plays, and of course this was the game that put David Pollack on the map. The fumble/interception in the endzone (which basically won the game) is why this isn't lower. SC had a chance and was at our goal line with seconds to go but the RB fumbled.

7. 2008, 14-7 UGA. Not really much noteworthy to be honest. I only put it here because there was a "revenge" factor coming off a UGA loss in 07, it had some pretty big star power, and it came down to the end and could've gone either way.

6. 2010, 17-6 USC. Lattimore put on a show. Was a one score game in the 4th until a SC touchdown put it away. Would've loved to have had AJ Green for this one, but Latt was pretty entertaining by himself.

5. 2007, 16-12 USC. Pretty close game throughout. UGA had a chance to win with a few minutes left, but a late rally fell short with some key drops by UGA receivers.

4. 2005, 17-15 UGA. Spurrier's first game against UGA and first time back in Athens in a decade. DJ Shockely had a flying TD run, but the real reason I put this one here instead of at 5 is because we converted a 4th and 19 backed up deep in our own territory in the second half. Without that play, UGA doesn't win the game or the east. This was also a 5:30 kick IIRC so it had the feeling of a day game and night game. Good atmosphere.

3. 2004, 20-16 UGA. Very electric atmosphere being a night game and college Gameday being there. Holtz had SC fired up and SC jumped up huge for a 16-0 lead. UGA scored before halftime to ease the gap. UGA kept clawing back and took the lead for good on a patented David Greene ballfake. UGA would then get huge stops on SC's next few possessions via fumble and 4th down stops to end the game

2. 2009, 41-37 UGA. Night game in Sanford with a new QB for us and some freshmen at key positions. Branden Smith's TD run on a reverse electrified the crowd. Was pretty back and forth the whole game. SC answered every shot we had. They also had the ball late with a chance to win but I believe threw an INT to end it.

1. 2011, 45-42 USC. This was 2009 on steroids. Back and forth, tit for tat, you name it. UGA's offense couldnt' be stopped. USC's offense was good, but also got contributions from defense and special teams. It was a back and forth affair the whole game that was probably one of the most entertaining football games I've been to. No let down at all the whole game.

Those are pretty good rankings but 2012 is honestly my favorite game ever witnessed at WB so that will be my #1. I was at 2011 game and that was truly a rollercoaster of emotions all throughout that game.

Great game, but I swore I was going to die in the stands from the heat that day. Add that on top of Davis' fumble at the 2 yard line, and it made for one of my least favorite days of my college career.

The 2009 and 2011 games in Athens were my favorite, the type of slugfests you can only expect from UGA-SC

2009 was my "favorite" loss. Very entertaining game.

Last year's UGA game was an absolute blast for the most part, but it wasn't close like usual.

My Top 3 are 2012, 2011, and 2000. Best game to watch that we lost was '09, b/c it was a shootout.

'12 b/c it was awesome, for us at least. The most dominant smacking I can recall being at.

'11 was hella fun to watch. Ingram's fake punt return still makes me laugh.

'00 b/c we were 0-11 the year before and it felt like we started to turn the tide.

And I still think Garcia should have looked the other way on the play where he threw the INT in 2009.

Wide frickin open man.

2011 was unbelievable. I had to leave the game at halftime to find a friend but we watched the second half at Georgia Theater. Just an absolute rollercoaster.

2000 was incredible, too. One of my first games I ever attended. Got my parents to buy season tix that were on the 35 or so. Stormed the field, tore down the goal posts... still have a piece of the sawed off goal post at my parents house.

EDIT: 2008 had to be one of the hottest games in history and I recall being absolutely incensed w/ the refereeing... helluva end to that game.

2012 speaks for itself. First game I took my UGA friends to from Charleston. They couldn't believe the atmosphere, and were very complimentary of all the stadium improvements (Farmer's Mkt, especially). Glad to return the favor for them putting me up in 09 and 11.

Couple of things..

1) I remember we missed a PAT in that game. I can't remember how it is connected but I know it contributed to that loss. I think we had to go for 2 when we otherwise wouldn't have or something. In any case I just remember thinking if we had made that FG it would've been an OT game somehow.
2) Sidney Rice had a TD pass called back
3) If SC would've won that game we would've been the Eastern champs in Spurrier's 1st season. Imagine how that would've jump started recruiting.

2012 is by far my favorite game. Williams-Brice was electric. I spilled a good bit of my bourbon and coke after we scored on our first drive.

Also 2010 because of Lattimore's coming out party.

I pretty much agree spot on with your rankings... however, I will say that for most Gamecock Fans, the 2000 game will be higher than a UGA fan would rank it. Just from the perspective that we had been TERRIBLE for the two years prior to that and had just broken a 21-game skid. For me, I would switch 2000 for 2004. Your top two are money though. Two of the most entertaining games I have ever been to, regardless of opponent.

Oh, sorry for having a non-flaming, casual discussion involving UGA and SC. My bad.

I get what you're saying, but the gist of the idea was to be from a purely entertainment point of view. Like if just a casual random viewer were tuning in, how much enjoyment they'd get. I know the 2000 game meant a ton to USC people, but it wasn't really all that close and ended up being an 11 point win, whereas the 2004 game had a major atmostphere (gameday, I think SC wore black as well?) and saw one team surge out of the gates then the other team come back.
