I’d say throw the bank at Herman, Malzahn, Briles, or Longo and hope for the best. If they all decline - frick it - go after some G5 coach.
If Bobo’s out, Lincoln Riley’s brother would probably take the job now, even though I think he can’t really replicate Oklahoma or SMU’s offense with our current roster.
I hope Beamer actually did have a list of attainable coordinators before he was even hired.

The rumor is that he had a whole Powerpoint presentation during his interview that laid out his vision and potential staff, and that's what assured Tanner he was the right guy.
Of course, that could all be bullshite, but it's definitely not a good look that he's had over a month to land a DC and still hasn't done so, and now we could be losing our OC on top of that. Nevermind that we're just hemorrhaging players to the transfer portal with each passing day.
People kept saying that Beamer would take a lower salary to allow for more money to go to our coordinators, so let's see that become reality. Offer $1.5 million to any big name OC, DC, and S&C coach and get this fricking program running again.

I'd be fine with dumping every one of them and bringing Chadwell and his crew. It's what I wanted from the beginning but I ain't gots no power to influence.
