I mean people hate me for it. But anyone with a brain saw this one coming. The BOT, AD etc fricked this up again. They made a change, went cheap and we'll suffer through more mediocrity for another 2/3 seasons.
We'll call it the, "Dooley 2.0 years".
The answer was always Chadwell with the right budget. He has won with less at two lesser programs. Say any dumb shite you want about his gadget offense. The fact is he's gave Coastal Carolina and Charleston Southern swag at level neither has seen. And made both play 100% above their heads. And he has Coastal ranked higher than we'll be for the next 5/8 years. And Beamer won't do shite. He will never recruit at the level he did before.
I'll dredge this post up at the end of the next season and we'll see whose right and whose wrong.

Let's be honest here. Coaches don't really do the recruiting. Bagmen do. We used to have good ones. Now, not so much.
