Just thought this should be brought up here because it somewhat involves us;

The coaches named are Lamont Evans, an assistant at Oklahoma State and a former assistant at South Carolina;

Any way we can pin some of these charges on Roper?

Roper?
He's not cool enough for Adidas to come to him and bribe him

This may be bad for us.

Wasn't he gone by 2016 which is the start point of their charges?

We're University-2 in the indictment.

They started the investigation in 2014. Did you folks have any top recruits 2014-2016?

Doesn't mean anything happened with those two. Has any of the report leaked out that links USC besides that coach?

Lamont Evans has been suspended by OK State
Arizona has fired Book Richardson

Evans, 40, was first approached by three business and financial advisers more than a year ago when he was an assistant coach with the Gamecocks under head coach Frank Martin. They gathered at a restaurant near the USC campus in March 2016 where they discussed a Gamecock player who was a possible "first-round pick in the NBA draft" in 2017, according to the complaint.
quote:
After getting an assistant coach's job at Oklahoma State a month later, Evans expressed interest in paying the USC player and his family "to make sure they're solidified as far as things getting done on their end. You know what I mean?" The player is not named, and authorities do not say if the player or his family ever received any money from Evans or the advisers.
Evans is facing up to 80 years in prison on six different bribery and fraud charges, authorities said.
USC said Tuesday it is cooperating with authorities but declined further comment.

That's what I was thinking. This is unbelievable. Watch the NCAA get involved and crucify us after doing nothing to UNC.
How could Frank not have, at the very least, been suspicious? And that quote the Ag posted on tRant makes me very nervous. The one about the investigator saying what's been made public isn't anywhere close to covering all of what he found out during the investigation.
Ugh..any of y'all wanna go to work for me tonight? You can play nurse.

So does that mean we play with ourselves? I mean, you are me and I am you.

We should explore this question further

Hmm...scientific research is vitally important to our existence, after all.

There was a prominent clemsux guy too,(cant think of name atm) heard a bit about it on the radio on my way to my cornhole tournament tonight.
Hate that it may bring heat to us but with the zion kid and having klemmy in his final list..... I sure would love for the FBI to get into looking in the tiglets affairs pretty extensively. Korny was also saying the Clemson alum was pretty prominent in this whole thing as well so I don't have a lot of other info to go on.
From what I heard kornbutt say Evans' was on tape saying OKST was a much much much bigger business deal for him. So hopefully there is not a lot of fire in Columbia.
