Section 21!!!!

The Official Opponent Critique Section.

"Opponents, you may not like what we say, but you're going to have to hear it!"

Mid week game and work don't always give the best chances, unfortunately.

I'm sure a bunch more are going, I don't think this will be a full stadium situation though. Like Loather pointed out, some people aren't going to be able to take the day(s) off to get down there, especially those people who are outside an hour or so of Columbia.

I'm taking Thursday as a half day and am heading out of Charlotte after lunch. I'm just annoyed that I'm going to miss the Panthers vs Steelers game, but I gave my tickets for that to one of my Sales Reps who's been killing it, and it meant a lot to him, so that made me feel better about missing the game. Plus, it's just a preseason game anyways.

I despise mid-week games... I hope after next year that we are over that.

If it's the difference b/w getting the team on tv or not, I'm cool with it. Plus, I wouldn't mind it being a tradition that USC kicks off the college football season every year, Cocks are the Bringers of the Dawn of NCAAFB, and all. Also, if it gives us a couple extra days to prepare of uga, that's cool with me.

As far as being mid week during the middle of the season, I'd rather not be on Thursdays.

I was planning to go but I got really busy at work so I decided not to take off.

Sucks the game is at 6 too. I'm going to have to catch a buzz quick after I get off work tomorrow

Won't be able to make it up there tomorrow. But know in your heart of hearts that I will wish I was there while watching on my 70" and drinking apple pie shine

Also will be my newborn son's first game and he will have his gameday onesie and hat on

First home game I won't be attending in 6 years. Don't know how I'll get through it

Nice. Fun fact: by the time the clemson game happens in November, I will have had 3 children...and none of them will have ever seen the taters beat the Gamecocks during their lifetime.

Y'all better get it together this year and put some social pressure on each other to stay for the games. I LOL'd when coach called everyone out last year for leaving blowouts early.

I'd be lying if I didn't say I was jelly. If you can't be at the game, that's a good setup.

Coach got shade from the pressbox and an air conditioned lock room during halftime of the ECU game. By far the most miserable I've ever been at a game and he was dead wrong when he said it wasn't that hot.

There should be a rule that there can't be a noon game until October.

It seems like most night games occur later in the year when it can get pretty cold but during the hot weeks of the season we play at noon or 3:30.

And the most outrageous thing is them charging so damn much for a fricking bottle of water. Sure there are some water fountains that sometimes don't even work but really? $3+ for water? gtfo.

As a student I'd spend most of my Carolina cash at Williams-Brice.

And I'll be in the stadium tomorrow if I can scalp a ticket while tailgating tomorrow.
