I mean yeah. Muschamp was recruiting poorly (which was supposed to be one of his strengths) and then we brought in a new coach very, very late into recruiting cycle. This class was always going to be doomed.

The reality is this class was screwed the second Caslen let it slip that we were looking to fire Muschamp in 2019. The decent recruits we had committed to us by that point were being reminded of it daily by other schools, and they were just waiting for the right time to decommit.

I don't fault Beamer for this class. It's just a reflection of how far our program has fallen, which I will always blame on our AD. It didn't have to get to this point, the writing was on the wall long before 2020, yet nothing was done. Nothing is still being done.

I agree, but I'll add this. We, as fans, fueled he fire. All the "Fire Muschamp" posts on the web only made the situation worse. Recruits could read the writing on the wall, and wouldn't touch us with a 3 meter cattle prod....

Oh please
The program was failing we were just saying what needed to be done

Recruits would probably feel worse if we didn’t give a shite and shut up

It's extremely disgenerous for you not to add our elite transfers from div 3 and georgia southern and who knows where else to our recruiting class!!! The transfers alone should have, at least, brought us to 70th are maybe even 68th.

No, never my friend. Not until I get the greatest gift of my life. Tanner getting as far away from us as humanly possible. Or me learning that he has crossed over the rainbow bridge. With the rest of my pets whose mental capacity he barely makes the cut of sharing.

You all assumed I posted this to point out we being dead last and completely fricked for years. Oh no, that wasn't at all what I was looking at. But thank you brothers for pointing that out.

I guess none of you noticed the job Lane kitten did is his first full season as a coach at Ole Miss. He literally put them on par with all the blue bloods. A place we haven't been in so long. He also made them immediately fun to watch despite having a worse defense than us. And they're winning games with literally a completely empty cupboard.

Who was that one poster who kept saying he was a "loser". Man, that guy is killing it. I need to get him to manage my portfolio.

Oh for sure, but we won't reap any benefit of that. Kiffen will be the new us Spurrier era. And Beamer will be gone in years 3/4. He can hire all the guys who "want" to be here he wants. That shite will not win games. Lane Kiffen could have come in on a Thursday night and has us winning games by Saturday. We needed the only thing that has EVER worked here. A F'ing Offensive minded coach who can call his own plays and is ELITE at is. Instead we hired a lifetime special teams/Tight Ends coach. Who everyone knows is a 2/3 year stop gap.

I'm in my 50's and have resigned myself to the realization that in my lifetime, I will never see Carolina win a football championship.

Spurrier was an offensive coach..yes, but we had elite defenses when he was here. Had we not had really some nationally ranked defenses, we wouldnt have been anywhere near 11 wins. Heck had we not had some of the best in state recruiting cycles back to back in this states history, we probably dont get close to that threshold.

When Kiffin can take ole miss and do more than just recruit and throw a clipboard, ill be convinced.

No one is worried about convincing you of anything. You're no one anywheres barometer for their success. But he walked in the building, drew some shite up on a napkin and instantly made them a better team. Yes, we had good defenses. But we also put up points that kept us in games. For example beating Alabama.

For anyone other than this guy, who apparently was touched in his NO NO SPOT by Lane as a child. Click the link and look at Matt Corrals yards per game. Then click the drop down for 2019 and look at the instant difference made.

LINK

Before Kiffen 175

After Kiffen 333.7

With a team of nobody's he

5 Florida
L51-35

1 Alabama
L63-48

Auburn
L35-28

South Carolina
W59-42

LSU
L53-48

Indiana
W26-20

Yeah, he def doesn't deserve respect for hanging that tight in the west with the pile of steaming dog shite he inherited from Matt Luke
