Nope. I don't trust him after this move and God knows Gamecock Twitter is losing its damn mind over it.

I particularly don't understand after how viciously Clemson fans, and a few players, trashed him publicly for transferring to us why the hell he'd want to go back there and not travel to support his own team.

ETA: And SOS..as far as him being a spy I swear on my life I would not put it past them. fricking dirty arse motherfrickers.

After the xt shite using a turncoat wouldn't shock me. Even if you are not traveling you watch your team on tv you don't go hang out with the sith lords.

I wonder if Muschamp knew he was going and if not what his " real" thoughts on him going.

I don't trust anybody who wants to voluntarily spend time in that place other than to watch the Gamecocks.

Pretty standard practice that injured players don't travel but not a good look for him to be at clemsun. I wonder if anyone has the balls to ask Muschamp about it. Since he retained an attorney to get his release, I am surprised clemsun would allow him to be there. Dude still looks as fat as hell.

Tater SID claims they weren't aware he was coming. Riiigghhht. And Josh should have at the very least been rocking something relevant to the Gamecocks.

Twitter link to Josh on the field after the game

Josh did tweet about going afterwards:

I wouldn't read too much into it. He probably just wanted to go watch a college football game and used his connections to get on the field.

As hard as it is for some sports fan to understand, these kids have played against, or with each other for years. While I was at USC I went to visit friends at clemsux, Duke, UNC and GT. This has nothing to do with football outside of it's just what they do "besides" being friends and attending different schools for different reasons.

Yeah, he was probably just going up to catch up with old friends... but that would have been something to do on a bye week for the Cocks.

Well he got to watch a snoozefest instead of a hell of a game between his team and Ole Miss.

Did find out he was rocking a Gamecock lanyard.

The comments by tater fans on one of the many tweets by sports sites were as you would expect. Brutal and vicious towards him. I was pleasantly surprised that Gamecocks weren't acting out in the tweets nor have they been @'ing him.

It has nothing to do with football huh? Just there visiting friends huh?

THEN VISIT YOUR FRIENDS WHERE THEY LIVE NOT ON A FOOTBALL FIELD THAT IS HOME TO OUR SWORN ENEMY!

It is seriously amazing to see some of the posters on forums clueless about why anyone would have an issue.

I don't think he was there as a spy, as I doubt he is smart enough to do that, but after all the nasty negative comments said about him and his family why would you bother to go around filth like that.

He's probably regretting it ... lesson learned. This is a bitter rivalry.

Heard he caught some grief by sheep humping sister bangers ragging on him. Some of his former teammates also cold-shouldered him.

You can never go home. You should never go back to your high school the year after you graduate (unless you have little brothers playing or little sisters cheerleading or being named homecoming queen) and you should never go back to a place you just transferred out of ... but plenty of kids do all of that.

He's just a kid. He's floundering a little with the whole growing-up thing and no longer being the big man on campus.

He'll figure it out sooner or later or he'll end up transferring to a small school. From what I've heard one of our coaches asked him about it and just suggested he shouldn't do it again ... and they've all moved on.

He's obviously having problems attaching and committing himself to something. He'll figure it out soon enough. It's part of life.

How long will it take him to get the smell of cow poop out of his clothes?

This is an excellent opportunity to use the spiderman meme. Twitter has tater fans saying Carolina sent him to scout, Carolina fans are firing back with the same accusation.

I don't think this is that big of a deal. He's a young kid who probably still has some good friends on the Clemson team.

Obviously I would've preferred that he just stayed home and watched our game, but him being on the couch or at Clemson doesn't make any difference to the direction of our season.

Muschamp will handle it however he sees fit.

I suppose what bothers me, albeit slightly immature, is the fact that it was Clemson and now they're rubbing it in Gamecock's faces on social media.
