South Carolina cruises to a 4th straight win in the highly prestigious Palmetto Series . We crushed the tiggers 9.5 to 4.5.
Once again the Gamecocks Athletic department shows it's dominance over it's little brother.

I don't care if we play clempson in tiddlywinks, hop scotch or paddycake as long as we win.
This is the highest sports honor in South Carolina. The Palmetto Series is equivalent to March Madness, the college playoffs and even Wimbledon.

Sorry you feel that way. I choose to look for the positives in life.
Like I said I don't care the sport I just care that we beat clempson. So if a positive victory over a clempson athletic department doesn't make you smile then sorry for you.

So the only thing that matters is football? No, the only thing that matters is a victory over clempson in ANYTHING. That's what a real rivalry is about.

Football isn't the only thing, but it's by far the most important. And we have been dominated by them for our entire history in football. I'm 34 and we've beaten them 11 times in my life. They rub it in our faces, year after year, and we do jack shite about it.

I agree with the football issue but my hatred of clempson is deeper than just 1 sport. I hate them in all sports and celebrate ANY win against the tators.
Imo all GAMECOCK fans should feel the exact same way but I guess some of us hate them worse or maybe I'm just old school.

Clemson has had a hugely inherent advantage against us in our series for some time. Several actually. Know what they were? Know what they are now?
Do you understand the true history and understand why it's not changing overnight ... but it is changing.
If you feel like it maybe I might offer an explanation of things and why we old timers are methodical in our fandom. Why these little things like the Palmetto Trophy add-up and why it's so important to stay focused.
Our fans and leadership have shot ourselves in the foot so many times. It's frustrating and it's also self defeating and suicidal to do what some of our fans do every single time. Never fails.
