Connor Shaw is now the TE Coach at Furman

Former South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw has landed a coaching job with an FCS school.
Shaw, who starred for the Gamecocks from 2010-13 under coach Steve Spurrier, will be the tight ends coach at Furman, a source told Josh Kendall of The State on Tuesday.
Shaw will serve under head coach Clay Hendrix, who will be in his second season with the Paladins in 2018. In Year 1, Furman went 8-5, 6-2 in Southern Conference play as Hendrix won SoCon Coach of the Year.

Good spot. Furman has a decent FCS program and plays in a fairly salty conference. It will get him some good experience that he can build on from there.

Our Offensive staff in 2021.....
BMac leaves to be a Head Coach after transforming our Offense into a juggernaut. Co-OC/RB Coach Bobby Bentley becomes OC, Marcus Lattimore takes Bentley's spot as RB Coach, and Connor Shaw get the QB coaching gig when Dan Werner decides to retire.
The success continues as Shaw is able to mentor and improve the performance of rising Senior star QB Dakereon Joyner, and Lattimore fine tunes the performance of Junior RB Quavaris Couch. That potent 1-2 combo are both Heisman hopefuls and lead a lethal Offense - one that is not really needed with a Top Ten Defense.
