At this point. He will surely fix the situation. But he talking too much. Heck, even his wife is now chiming in.

This fla state reversal about tanner is ridiculous. Keep whats going on under wraps.

I hate to say it But he is ringing of an attention whore right now. Be quiet and make moves.

I have to disagree. He is sending a message to Tanner, Muschamp and the fans. Normally I would agree but he is showing the fans that he is in charge and they are keeping an eye on the situation. If the school was totally quite the fans would be freaking out and blame him for not giving a crap. Frankly I'm glad it came out that Tanner called fsu and asked how they handled the Taggert buyout.

He said two different things 4 minutes apart to two different papers. The only message he is sending is that he is incapable of speaking to the press

Are you the poster that said all Muschamp needed was a good oc in the game thread?

Wouldn’t be surprised by that

But I’m on his side hopefully he picks his guy, not Brad Edwards

Yes. I am. I said I’d rather us spend money on a qualified OC than a buyout that will set us back. That’s an opinion that many people have, maybe not on this particular message board, but around Columbia.

At this point Muschamp has gone through enough OCs to realize he’s not a good Hc.
Wish we realized that before we hired him. I’ll blame that on the sister banging sheep humper that is our AD

Yet there are morons out there that think the same guy, that has fricked up every OC hire he has had, can all of a sudden hire the right guy.

The right guy is a guy who’s already a head coach

I think that’s fake TBH.
Think Rooster even said it. Basically the name was thrown out there and Stoops swooped in telling him he’s the head coach next year after he retires.
Sure we would have interviewed him. But he wasn’t coming here

i agree that will has been abysmal with offensive coordinators..saying that, the word is that muschamp will most likely stay and a new offensive coordinator and strenght coach need to be hired.

if a coach is offered the right number and contract length any coach can be hired.

if will messes it up and its a crap show next year then he is on the chopping block.

It actually came out from multiple people on CT. Infact Rooster was the last person I saw say it.

Your strength coach is the most valuable coach in your program. While the position coaches are limited in what they can say/do with their groups in the offseason, the S&C coach is the one that gets to work with them day in and day out.

I just can't have any hope that a new offensive coordinator will go any better than Muschamp's last hires, going back to his time at Florida.

Muschamp needs to realize that he needs to rethink his entire head coaching philosophy.

Yes I know.
That Tanner said “no”
What I’m saying is there was no way he was coming here as the head coach

Of course not when you won't even give him an interview due to his youth.

Lets play fantasy island for a second and say he makes a home run hire and actually leaves the guy alone.

There are still problems that make it unlikely for Muschamp to be retained after next year.

1. Receiver talent...Shi smith and josh vann are your best receivers next year. Leggette is probably third. that is just sad to say in year 5.

2. Offensive line is a mess. Wolford is good he has to have something to work with.

3. We lose our top 3 backs. Maybe we get aj turner back to help but that position looks dreadful. Marshawn needs to help from day one.

That is why will wont last. A great coach cant perform miracles.
