So should the fans boycott the rest of the season and send a message?

Or

Do we not turn our back on our players?

My hope is that fans who live close to Columbia and still have an interest in attending games, actually go to show support for the players.

I, however, am not going to drive 2.5 hours to fight traffic and exert energy in setting up a tailgate just to see the kind of shite show we saw yesterday.

It is imperative that our new president and the BOT see the results of an unhappy fanbase, and make the necessary moves to right the ship. They’ll listen if we speak up by withholding money. We’ve been too passive and apathetic for too long.

It will suck for our guys to see smaller crowds cheering them on, but hopefully a new coach can come in who will actually help them win on the field. I’d think they would appreciate that.

I live here. I’ll probably go Saturday, but I know several of my out of town friends are hanging it up.

Haven’t been able to attend a game since 2010 in Columbia, but I’ll be watching on tv. Not sure I want to try the UGA game.

I’m not going this week. I think it’s a really shitty situation for the players because I know they’re doing the best they can. They are being failed by the coaching staff just like the rest of us.

The problem is that I don’t believe our administration is committed to winning. They’re committed to bringing in money. The only vote I have as an average fan with zero actual influence is to withhold my money and hope that enough others choose to do the same so that the school can’t ignore the message that is being sent. If Muschamp isn’t fired at years end I won’t be renewing my season tickets next season either.

I don’t live in Cola but if I did I’d go

That said I’m not boycotting watching the games

Still love my team/school even if we do stink at everything

I always believed in supporting tge players HOWEVER , I don't see the players giving 100% effort. If they don't give a shite why should I.
Mr. Sinister, last week, told me to shut up bitching because I had no pull but he is wrong we all can send the message that the school will not get any further financial support until they make changes. Time to send that message people.

Unfortunately I’m obligated to go to Athens this year, but I’ll have my fire ray sign and paper bag mask ready

Just because we got dominated doesn’t mean they weren’t trying

I thought they all tried

We just got beat by a better team

We aren’t good right now. Our QB clearly fricked up his arm and the defense is just bad

Then you're not watching the same game as I. Our defensive players are not giving effort I can tell you that.

As a Missouri fan, all I can say is that this game was a qb away from being a real game. Add some bad coaching mixed in with bad penalties killed your chances.

All that lies with Muschamp.

FWIW, I liked your Joyner QB, that kid has heart.

No we didn't. We gifted them 14 points. 7 was on a complete fluke play. The other 7 was because of idiotic play-calling that should have been a touchdown for us instead.

I've never seen a team leave so many points on the field because of stupid play-calling. We have numerous backs that are capable of picking up 3 freaking yards to score yet the coaches inexplicably call a pass play on the goal line time and time again.

That type of play calling is our coaches saying they dont trust the OL to get us 3 yards or its shows our coaches are idiots and way over their head.

Which backs up my post about the lack of effort on the defensive side.

Gashed or Gassed?

Our run D was just fine. We had 7 TFL's in that game and 2 sacks. Our season high vs FBS teams. They only averaged 3.6 yards/carry. That's in the bottom 1/3 of the National Average (Average 4.2 yards per rush), and we actually dropped their average yards per carry from previous weeks.

They got the yardage they did not from running the ball well, but from the time of possession and the number of carries they had. Mizzou had 87 offensive snaps in the game, 54 of them rushes (3.6 yards per rush). TOP was 38 Min to 22 mins. You can't play that many snaps and expect our guys to hold up.
