This is fairly inaccurate. The Dline can do its job just fine, but if the back 7 frick up you will see those kinds of numbers. Defense isn't just several levels of fail-safes. Each position has a particular assignment, so you can get good play from the Dline, but if the LBs and DBs constantly mess up, or can't tackle like we have seen all season, it's not goin to make a visible difference.

This is a nationwide problem. Because of fear of (head) injuries teams do not practice tackling like they used to. They use "thud" techniques etc, but not what we would traditionally think of when you say tackling practice.
Defensive practice talks about assignments and angles.

It's also game after game we are seeing the same issues with no improvement which I blame the coaches. Our talent is no where close to being what people say.

What do people say about our talent?
Media days had us at 4th in the east (below UGA, UF and Missouri)
And the gap between 4-5-6 (Us, UT, UK) points were very slim

Our fans were talking about our talent before the season. I put the lack of talent also on the coaching staff. This staff has to go!
With the cost of parking, tickets and any other cost it doesn't make good business sense to go to the games. The school should immediately run a bogo deal at the food stands.

Sure they know the most but more fans will be positive than negative
look at Royal air. Guy predicts 3 wins and everyone on here flipped
When in reality he called exactly what every non fan thought
We can still go 3-5 in the SEC, finish above UT, Vandy and UK, and have a worse overall record than UK and UT

The thing is there is talent on Defense. Not great talent, but they aren't pants on head retarded either. The coaching staff just can't help but squander what talent or skills they do have.

we have a former running back at defensive back. he hasnt even played yet due to injury. we need him badly.
and for the slow guys out there, what i am really saying is that int year 4 muschamps defense is so bad that they had to take a pretty solid rb and special teams guy and move him to the secondary.
bulletin..from now on. if they have to ever move someone from offense to defense in order to help..that means bad things for the future.

I thought 6-6 was the bare minimum for this year. I thought our defense would be better at this point. 4 games in....looking at 5 wins max. Will that get us a bowl game this year?

Many, I legit thought we could get to 8-4 this year and 7-5 at worst. I've said it before but basically I just wanted to have a decent year so the good recruits we have coming in won't jump ship if they see that we're a dumpster fire.
Looking at the rest of the schedule now I don't see how we even compete with UF, UGA, and Clemson. @A&M is another likely loss and who knows what will happen with UK.
