Jamie Shaw has apparently flipped his prediction of GG Jackson to UNC to GG Jackson to South Carolina as of a little earlier today.
I'll believe it when I see it and if it happens, wonder where we had the $$ hidden needed to pull that feat off.

Idk about that. I think his parents want him at South Carolina. His sister does as well. The ppl around him that are invested in him in other ways are likely pushing him to go G league.
It's all speculation anyway. Getting him could help our floundering MBB program in massive ways, though. I'd love to see GG be the hometown hero. Football had Clowney, WBB had A'ja, why not have GG claim that banner for MBB.

This is why I have little belief that GG wanted to be at SC because of Frank Martin. He was potentially going to come despite Frank. Frank just needed to put out some PR and make it look like he got shafted despite being a trash coach.
Hopefully Paris can make it happen, but if not im still 100% behind him.

Duke insider Adam Rowe just flipped his CB for GG from UNC to South Carolina on 247 with a confidence level of 7.
ETA: He also just posted on the Gamecock 247 board that it should be done by August. So Jamie Shaw from On3 has flipped and so has Adam Rowe of 247 now. The smoke sure is starting to billow.

It appears to be a done deal. Sad that he doesn't have much talent around him. I sat let him shoot 35 times a game.

Oh my expectation of it actually happening is tempered for sure. But watching UNC in full Chernobyl Melt Mode is fun while the opportunity is there.

Anything that hurts UNC is fantastic but I'm not sure how much of this was Parris versus this was his family's plan but Frank being fired threw them off yet in the end that stuck with the original plan.

Apparently they were fine with, though not thrilled by, him going to UNC. His dad was all for it. His mom had accepted it. His sister was, overtly at least, the least happy about it. Paris never gave up. The scuttlebutt that it was over when we fired Frank and then GG committed to UNC never slowed down his attempts at establishing a relationship with them. And apparently that has began to show hints of paying off.
Doesn't mean it actually comes to fruition and becomes a Gamecock. The situation seems to be extremely fluid, especially with the ultimate decision of whether he will come here or go G League. It does, however, seem a foregone conclusion that in any case, he will not be wearing baby blue next year.
ETA: Just had 2 more CBs flip to South Carolina. Total of 4 CBs have now flipped from UNC to South Carolina today.

Starting to believe the GG stuff talked to a friend I went to hs with that is a football coach at ridge view, who told me it's fairly likely

UNC's board has locked all threads related to GG. Prepping for controlled chaos as much as possible, I guess.

I'll say this, GG is 85% reclassing...and around 65/35 for college over the g leauge
