I'm sure our AD can't wait, considering we haven't beaten Clemson in any men's Big 3 sport since December 2015. And we have fans on various websites defending our AD.

Ray Tanner has done the AD version of ghosting The Gamecocks.

The women have a very tough schedule and it will be interesting to see how we do without A'ja. If we don't make it to the playoffs, I guess some of you will want to get rid of Dawn. Time will tell how Tanner will be viewed as an AD. It is too soon to know about Muschamp. He needs a few more years to get his defense up to speed. We do not have the players nor depth to compete in the SEC. The loss yesterday was a gut punch. Our defense was lacking to begin it. We have a bunch of injuries and are having to play freshmen and play guys out of position. I am in a "wait and see" mode.

Why is it that it takes 5-6 years to build a decent roster at Carolina, in the eyes of so many?

Look at Scott Frost at UCF. First year while the players are learning his system he’s 6-6. Next year? 12-0.

Or Jeff Brohm at Purdue. They went from the Kansas of the B1G to beating the ever loving shite out of Ohio State in his second year. They won’t have some great record, but there is clear progress.

shite, Saban didn’t need five damn years to build a decent roster. Muschamp just isn’t very good at this

No comparison to those teams. How would UCF and Purdue fare in the SEC. Even when we pull in a great recruiting class, we are still 7th or higher in the SEC. We are never going to out recruit UGA or BAMA.

Muschamp didn't need to be Saban-esque from his first on the job. he really just needed to be better than Mark Stoops and Kevin Sumlin on the sidelines -

Do you think either of those coaches would have performed better with the defense we have? I am not happy with this season either. There has been a variety of problems from Jake over throwing WR's to dropped passes and a plethora of youth and injuries. Growing pains. In a couple more years if we are not winnning the games we should and not competitive in those we shouldn't, then I will admit we have the wrong guy. I think it would be huge mistake to fire him but that's not going to happen any time soon. Stoops, by the way, entered this season on the hot seat. Probably will be again next year with all the talent they are losing.

Jeff Brohms Purdue team could possible finish 5-7 this year.

It’s unrealstic to compare Nick Saban and Alabama to Will Muschamp and South Carolina.

Nick Saban has literally been successful at every job he’s been.
shite you can even say the dolphins, he went 9-7 in his first year. Then realized his approach doesn’t fair well in the pros. (I think realistically he left because of the whole Drew Brees saga)

The guy literally had a winning record and was one game behind division winning New England by one game with Gus Frerrote as his QB.

So yes call me a Saban dickrider if you want but he’s literally the best coach of Our generation

im Just using Purdue to point out that even if you still need time to develop depth, Brohm has his team ready to play and he got a “signature win” in year two.

So far in big games we have consistently looked unprepared and overwhelmed by the moment.

We average a top 25 recruiting class going back a good ways. I’m not blaming all of this on talent. Talent wasn’t the issue yesterday, refusing to acknowledge that our defense sucks and calling the offense accordingly lost us that game. I would agree with the thought that we will be vastly improved on defense the next two years, but that doesn’t excuse coaching as if we have a decent defense this year. We don’t, and failing to adjust for it is squarely on Muschamp.

Oh i agree.

We seemed to always have some signature upset win under Spurrier.

Really can’t put my finger on it for Will.

Tennessee that one time they were ranked?

Northwestern will be playing in the Big 10 Championship game in a few weeks. With all of their historical and academic limitations, they will have been in as many conference championship games as we have. Fricking embarrassing.

Someone in here called them winning the west ;)

But for real the west is dog shite outside Wisconsin historically and they’re having a down year.

That would be like the big 6 all in the west or east

I was going to type out a post to try and explain my frustration, but the rubber chickens seem to have said it much better than I was ever going to.

Idgaf that some don't believe Wbb is a "real" sport...I'm still here to brag on Dawn for having the #1 ranked recruiting class in the nation currently. Mighty UConn isn't anywhere to be found in the top 10. Mississippi State comes in at 19th and Tennessee is 8th.
