1st loss of the year. Our inside game really needs help.

Lamont was given plenty of money and failed on big men. I fully expect this to be his last season here.

Played another decent team and another close loss. Unless something changes I see this as Lamonts last stand.

yeahhhh. The bigs are going to kill us. I like our guards, but hate our post game and defense. I was fooled by the preseason and exhibition games.

possibly. This past week or so has really been a blow to my belief in Gamecock mens season. The shooting started hot before the year, and at the very beginning but it has been bad lately. If we aren't rebounding then we have to be hitting shots.

I watched the first half. The guys stay in the game despite the fact we are the worst rebounding and worst defending team I have ever seen.

Didnt watch the second half, but saw that with a tie game and 20 seconds....we didnt even get a shot up to end regulation

go get this man outta SFla and let him have his chance with his unique brand of ball at USC - he's 69 but to hell with all that -

567 wins 86 losses - 2 Div II Titles

it's vintage Pitino meets Nate Oats - Crutchfield was analytics before analytics - all designed to destroy the opponent mentally -

Paris will just be more moral victories, and that's if we're lucky.

I would prefer we get ran out of the gym so there won't be a choice but to fire him.

Well folks, it's the 1 game a year where I can't pull for the gamecocks. Good luck.

We did?

Held close in the 1st half. Then went to church. Just now saw the final score.

Back to the fold....

Enjoy your L .....

...back to regularly scheduled programming where Lonnie is on our side. I am just mystified by this team. Held close, and should have beat NC State in the exhibition right before game 1. State pushes Kansas to OT, and we struggle with Citadel. 3-23 from 3Pt range wont win us games. We are lucky that the Citadel is awful. The goodish news is we shot 22-26 from 2pt range. That is actually pretty damn good. 18-21 from FT is solid also. We did win the rebounding battle 40 to 32.

Clemson is up next, must win game.
