March 12-16 @ TBA vs SEC Tournament

This is the first time in a long time that I've looked forward to our men's season. I think we will surprise people, just like last year. We recently beat NC State 86-78 in our secret scrimmage game. We have one of the best players in the SEC in CMB and incoming freshman, Cam Scott, was a 5* top 40 recruit.

I am so ready for this season. I can't believe where the SEC picked us.

Yeah that didn't happen. We were used as an example to show that the kid was not chasing the top offer. They just said if South Carolina offered 5 million and Kentucky 3 million and he likes Kentucky better he would choose them over the money

Good tune up win. CMB with 19 points 11 rebounds. Redshirt freshman Arden Conyers and true freshman Cam Scott both with 16 points

26 points felt close in an exhibition, was there anything concerning from last night? Or we just kind of played it pretty loose

26 point win in any men's ball game is pretty good. We are still working on our defensive identity and keep in mind Paris is still playing with the lineup.

If only the women would have waited a little over a month, then I could have seen them as a resident of LV....oh well.

I'll just go ahead and say I have 0 idea what to expect out of this team. I only followed recruiting/transfers/team building in passing pre NIL and transfer portal. Now the quality of teams in all sports, but basketball in particular, can change rapidly based on a couple of players coming in and out.

Last year we were predicted to be shite. I assumed that would be the case because we've been that way for so long. Then we end up finish a game back of winning the SEC and get ranked as high as the Top 15 at some point. Players have since come and gone and we're predicted to be arse again.

I think this team will be much more of a offensive team than last year. I'm glad everyone is looking down at us.

well....being concerned about only beating wooster by 26 seems to have been correct...

we played awful. sloppy sloppy play, with some terrible defense and awful shooting.

0-1 on the year and this could be a long year if we don't fix a lot asap

We played soft inside all game. We also miss Mack and Scott should be the top choice on offense

I've lived in New Orleans, San Diego and Hawaii. I'll take South Carolina and the friendly South all day.
