Get ready for what " hopefully" is at least a 4 win season. Doty can't pass worth a shite.

This was the worst spring game ever and the fact that they charged $5 for it is even more insulting. frick Tanner

I liked the black end zone the best but yes the end zone colors were the best thing about the practice.

We really, really need a good summer in the weight room. Too many of our guys still look small and skinny.

I know it's not something that happens overnight, but aside from a few of our D-linemen, I'm really worried about our OL, secondary, and LBs just getting manhandled throughout the season.

Enagbare ought to be a monster this season, though. That's about the only meaningful thing to take away from this game.

LMAO, you don't fricking say. Sorry you lost $5 but glad you figured out what I've been telling all of you since before our new resident dumb arse was hired. Good thing we didn't hire a real coach or staff from Coastal who runs a highly successful offense while highlighting the talents of a very similar QB. I'm honestly looking forward to making a fortune betting against us all season long on these sweet spreads. Our offense will be so one dimensional. Thank god dumb arse Beamer brought in an offensive juggernaut of a staff to overcompensate for our bevy of talent.

Just out of curiosity how bland and obvious was the play calling? I'm sure it had a very similar look as the last 5 seasons. Beamer will milk us just like Muschamp did and then our inept BOT and AD will hire the next milker.

I was against the hire from the start and still say the Coastal offense wouldn't work more than a season in the SEC and lead to worse recruiting.

It's going to be hard to improve enough over the summer to change our fortunes.

Our play calling consisted run, run , screen, run, run ,run ,throw a 5yrd pass, run , run.

WR group still can't get separation. Opposing teams will load the box from the first snap.

Yep, thats exactly what I expected it to be. Other teams will load that box rigth up with no wrinkles on offense (even with a limited down field passing threat) to keep them on their toes.

Brother while I appreciate your opinion, the fact of the matter is. They literally run an updated version of the same offense we were the most successful in our history with. And the same offense Florida and Auburn owned the SEC and the entire country with. I've shared this link before, just give the embedded gifs a watch and you tell me we would not have benefitted from this with our current personal and their liabilities as well as assets.

Side Note: Anyone who watched Coastal play knows their D was better coaches "up", prepped and motivated than anything Muschamp ever did, or will.

Seriously, just watch it, hell even read it. But at least give the play breakdowns a look. And then keep in mind Beamer will try to have us run that shite Oklahoma actually has the personal for but still gets their face used as a doormat against SEC teams with.

Pro's :
Stable of running backs
Fast/Strong QB
Tall WR
Good TE's
Solid Defensive line and Linebackers

Cons:
Grossly undersized OL
0 Downfield passing

Fair enough I watched it. I don't like it for the long haul BUT it would have been the perfect offense with Doty and our running backs. It would have given us the lift to show recruits that we were heading in the right direction. It was what we needed and we walked right on by.

Don't bet any money. I'm telling you we suck really really bad. We can't pass on offense and won't be able to stop the pass on defense. We will make a lot of teams look really good.

Agreed although Turnetine is NOT the answer at LT. Dude has been getting his shite packed in since the LSU game last year.

The running game would be really formidable but without a LT, and with mediocre pass catchers, we have no downfield passing game.

Also, can someone tell me how Doty is talented enough to be our QB1 while Joyner doesn't have "enough" talent to even be in the QB depth chart? They both seem like the exact same player.

He does. But there's too much water under the bridge for him to be switched back to QB at this point.

Muschamp strikes again.

Yes i know
But 3 games are against terrible G5/FCS teams
And we will somehow pull an SEC game out of our arse (or Vandy who sucks)

Sep. 4 Eastern Illinois
Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, SC
Win, barely

Sep. 11
at East Carolina Pirates
Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, Greenville, NC
Very possible upset given how they'll be up and we'll suck.

Sep. 18

Muschamp will be laughing at us all day with a check for $15 million in his back pocket. Loss, Bad Loss

Saturday

Kentucky Wildcats
Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, SC
Lose

Saturday
Oct. 2
Troy Trojans
Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, SC
Very possible upset here too. This one will be just as embarrassing as the Citadel fiasco. Hopefully it'll get Beamer fired unlike Muschamp.

Saturday

at Tennessee Volunteers
Neyland Stadium, Knoxville, TN
Loss

Saturday
Oct. 16
Vanderbilt Commodores
Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, SC
Pretty possible Loss here too

Kyle Field, College Station, TX
Aggie going to enter us dry and offer no safe word.

Saturday
Oct. 30
OFF
A win of sorts

Saturday
Nov. 6
Florida Gators
Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, SC
We'll make whoever they play at QB look like Peyton Manning

Saturday
Nov. 13
at Missouri Tigers
Faurot Field, Columbia, MO
Jesus Aged Christ, we'll lose Harry Potter and a bunch of woke milk toast eating fricks.

Saturday
Nov. 20
Auburn Tigers
Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, SC
Loss, and a bad one

Saturday
Nov. 27
Clemson Tigers
Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, SC
We lose I'd guess 50+ to 3 or 7

Saturday
Dec. 4 SEC Football Schedule
SEC Championship

Yeah, not in this fricking decade, not with this dog shite excuse for a staff or roster.

I'll put us at 2.5 and 8

Troy won't get Beamer fired. Hell even if he loses to some bullshite FCS team next year that won't get him fired. The current admin has to save face, and that means he is safe unless we go 0-24 or Tanner is fired.
