He's actually from Samoa. He moved to the US in '09.

Harmon is still a SC commit. He is wanting to talk with the coaches but they haven't come up to see him yet.
Our problem is that he's already OV'd (Sept) So b/c of that we can't pay for him to come down this weekend or in January to meet the whole new staff. He is VERY underrated, we don't want to lose him. He had 66 catches and 1111 yds this year with 15 TD's. He played on a very good team and he and McIlwain already have some familiarity from the 7v7 team. He could also be a hell of a Safety.
Plus it would be good to have him to help us recruit Taj Harris (now a Soph) Taj is just now being noticed, over 1,000 yds receiving as a Soph this year, he's going to be a big time prospect.

Pretty sure he decommitted this afternoon but everyone was expecting it ... G.A. poisoned the water.
It'll be interesting to see where G.A. lands. NC State perhaps?
ETA: We're going to lose some because of the staff changes, and gain some because of the staff changes. Let's hope we end-up in the positive because the losses/gains are inevitable. G.A. is so bitter if we can just keep McIlwain we'll be doing go where it comes to his players.

So I was just looking at a picture that was taken of Shawn and me last year standing beside one another in a similar pose and that's roughly what I look like standing next to Shawn ... so I am gonna say that kid is 6-3, heavier than me. He's probably going 290 and he's got more hair.
