I am so damn impressed by Coach Martin and these guys. Today, our defense took them completely out of their game.

A fantastic atmosphere, best it's been in a LONG time. Probably the best since the UK upset 2 years ago? What a game, can we give some big props to Sin? The guy has stepped it up since the Memphis game and has been taking control of games.

His averages in SEC games this week:
20.5 Points
5 Rebounds
4.5 Assists
2 Steals

Player of the Week Honors IMO.

Our remaining regular season schedule, for the men, is 8 at home, 8 on the road.

If we take 6 of 8 at home and 4 outta 8 on the road, minimum ... we go 25-6. (Of course, I'd love to see them do much better with the remaining schedule, and they are capable, but I'm being a minimalist here.)

That'll get us to the dance with an 12-6 conference record and probably an eight or nine seed.

They are all important - I would not know where to begin to put some games as more important than others because they are all important ... one game at a time.

Underlined means we play them twice.

Key RPI/BPI games have their dates bolded.

Scrooster, did you wind up at the WBB age in Nashville, close game till the end?

Yep, the win over Clemson is looking better and better. Lets just say I'm not rooting for them but I'm not going to be disappointed if they keep on winning to make us look better.

I did not ... wish I would have. I watched on TV though. I was supposed to be leaving for Honolulu tomorrow, but the wife is going without me while I head to Tennessee for a little while to see my ailing Dad.

Everybody kept saying it would be a blowout but I kept feeling it would be close. Both won today but there is truth to the whole "Memorial Magic" thing.

I am liking the graphics by 247 on this. They look sharp. I'm hoping we adopt the "Who's Next" campaign.

checked out the ticket situation at Coleman for the game tonight. looks like their coffin corners are empty and outside of the students behind 1 basket, the upper rows are consistently empty all around the arena. I'd guess 65% full before the football fan walk-ups get there tonight.

I haven't been in the old building since Wimp was on their bench in the 80's. it can get loud in there with that odd configuration and canopy roof over the court.

I fear they'll bring the football team and trophy out at halftime though I haven't seen anything on social media about it. they are giving away a free foam 3-point finger to the first 1500 students.

Gamecocks are gonna have to be completely dialed in and disaffected by all the circus atmosphere and non-basketball fans inside Coleman tonight just making noise if Saban's in the joint.

We'll be alright. It's fun watching (and poking at) the rant right now.
