Did he beat more teams than any other qb in history? I can’t think of another high profile QB that played for two teams and had that much success.
By my count it’s 32 different teams. I didn’t include the 2018 season at bama because he didn’t start.

Seems like a legit question. I miss Hurts running the football over and around defenders

How many different teams did Kellen Moore defeat?
Currently, he is the leader in games won by a college QB. Had to be a good mix in there.

I counted about 27 different teams for Moore. Might have counted wrong.

32 is a big number. Trying to think of transfer QBs or guys whose team maybe switched conferences during their careers. That guy also had to win a ton of games. Beating 32 different teams is likely a record if I had to guess. Winning 32 games as a starter period isn’t a small number. There’s guys like Andy Dalton and Colt McCoy that were 4 year starters and won a lot of games but likely didn’t beat that many different teams.

Good question, actually. Back when the U and BYU were independents their schedules weren't locked in from year to year. Some of their QBs may have racked up a lot of Ws against different schools. Da U was indy when Jim Kelly was there (and maybe Kosar). That run of BYU QBs in the 70s and 80s may be worth a look.
I'd guess it was a QB at a premier independent*.
*Doubt Notre Dame, though. Their scheds were pretty consistent from year to year.
