Higher ed is a big scam. That is one business I don't mind seeing getting a big reality check

I enjoyed the football games and the friends I made at Alabama. But the out-of-state price tag is laughable. Love my parents for stomaching what I would consider a pretty overvalued experience.

Major upvote.

Major downvote for the state bible-beaters not passing a lottery that would help subsidize some of the higher-Ed costs.

I would like for my kids to attend Alabama, but, if Ole Miss, South Carolina, and FSU are still giving Atlanta kids from certain schools in-state rates... well Hotty Toddy, Go Cocks, and Go ‘Noles.

AMEN!
The nation's academic mind set regarding colleges/universities being for everyone is simply delusional.

my 17 year old daughter...going to be denied the true freshman year experience because of this fricking virus

I have owned beach condos for several years and unfortunately been there during spring break sometimes doing maintenance.

Just trust me when I say that 18 year old females missing freshman year "experience" ain't all bad.
