Pretty much the opposite of our old scheduling philosophy.
I left Athens after graduation and spent 5 years in Columbus, Oh, basically from River Mill to a condo across the street from the horseshoe. Liked living near the Stadiums.
It will be a really fun trip as Columbus is just a really large college town with lots of Pubs...
Really, if the SEC is about elite sports and no longer geography, Ohio State would be a perfect fit as they basically are an SEC the in the North. Never happen obviously.
Seems like there may have been a trade at some point, hum......

Columbus is a truly underrated city. They have an excellent food and bar scene in Short North.

My office was on the edge of the Short North.

My daughter will have long graduated with a 4 year letter for UGA softball by then.
She is in the 8th grade ;-)
But should be a fun tailgating day for sure.
Why UGA vs LSU for her? Well I want to be able to watch her play as I live 5 miles from the softball stadium.
Note: I know this is a pipe dream I am not one of those dads that believes she is a D1 player or has any delusions of such. SEC Softball like Pac 10 is elite of the elite. But at 13 why not dream.

Wish her the best, one of my cousins pitched for Georgia State until an arm injury, my HS girlfriend got a full ride to Belmont. Love the sport.

The winning team could get the Fields Medal. Math people might complain about the name, but frick 'em.

Well I'm 43 but I feel 63. Plus I'm fat and I like beer and fried chicken way too much. So I'll probably be listening live to Larry Munson call the game in the sweet by and by.
Dirty Dawg and the rest of ya'll young frickers poor out some Natty Lite for us DGDs that have gone on to big boneyard in the sky.
