2010. Our last six SEC opponents had a bye week before playing us. No one else had more than one opponent with a bye week prior to playing them.
It’s weird how Alabama consistently gets the short end of the stick on details like this.

Anyone hear Cecil in Finebum? I think he said lsu got a deal with the SEC when they had the Hurricane game to reschedule with Fla, so that part of the deal was they get to play their games at night. Did I get that right? He also fired a shot at ole Gus. Finebum told him that Gus said he would like to play all his games in the afternoon because it gives him more time to prepare for the next game.
Cecil said something along the lines of, I think that is a good idea by Gus and I think he should tell the SEC office that and get all the Auburn games moved to the afternoon so that Gus has more time to prepare for the next game. Cecil said I totally agree that Gus should do that.

Yeah, but never lose sight of the fact that the real problem with the SEC is that the HQ in in Birmingham.
