Team with most to prove this upcoming football season?

I will list out 3 in order.
#1 LSU
Coming off a down year LSU must prove they are still elite. And must prove they can be the biggest threat to dethrone Alabama in the SECw. This is the year to do it.
#2 Texas AM
Texas AM took a step up last season but remained finishing behind Alabama. Texas AM must prove that they can compete for the SECw consistently. Not just for one year.
#3 Georgia
Should be the favorite IMO to win the SEC, but will that talent come up short once again? UGA has to prove they can get over the hump.

Not a terrible list. If LSU sucks again, O’s seat starts to get a slight warning feeling. Nothing hot, but absolutely not cool.
Can aTm maintain or will the personnel losses hurt?
UGA, can they take the step

You have to do it once in order to start doing it consistently. A&M hasn’t done that yet.

If LSU sucks again O is gone. Don’t think it will happen but his seat isn’t ice cold right now.

Did they not teach logic at Grambling?

Lane has to prove he can do more than score points
Josh, Shane, and Harsin have to prove they belong
Dan has to prevent a step backward

What’s the question? O is not safe if LSU sucks again. I don’t think LSU will suck again, but if they do, he’s out

It depends on how bad. 8-4? Seat gets warmer but not hot.
6-6? Seat is scorching hot.
Anything less and he could be gone
I see LSU winning 9+ games this year

Yeah agreed. I’m thinking suck as much as last year (6-6), which I think would be the end

False, they'll give him next year to turn it around. I will be shocked if this team isn't a 10 win team this year. Anything short of that will be very disappointing.
The one thing O has going for him right now is that he is killing it in recruiting. That alone as of right now keeps his seat cool.

With all of the off the field issues, I really, really doubt O survives 7-5 or worse.

If A&M is competitive again in the West y’all can’t talk shite about their “ancient” offense anymore. Which is interesting, considering that was the majority style in the SEC about 5 years ago. The conference was full of bum arse coaches. I still can’t believe Saban beat us running all those fat arse linebackers and slow interior lineman on the field. He really made senile Mack believe that was the blueprint and set us back a decade.
