I'm sure his coaching ability would be "magically" better

Didn't your recently hired coach lose in the regionals?

Because LSU isn’t in the CWS and Vitello doesn’t coach there, right? Amiright?

Baseball is about matchups, and honestly currently Vitello is getting schooled - he's also showing his arse again with his immaturity. However, the bats could warm up ...

Their bats warmed up first, a couple lucky breaks for UT and some sloppy play by the Tenn. catcher is the reason it's 7-4 right now.

Yes it would.

He’s trying to build a program at Tennessee with Jackass fans that don’t understand the game of college baseball.

At LSU he doesn’t have to be concerned about building a program.

Just come in, recruit, and coach.

Yeah, and I’m also sure Daniel Ricciardo would have the same results competing in a Honda Civic as he would in his McLaren.

It's just that simple ... Vitello already has built the program at Tennessee. He just needs better facilities, as opposed to starting over elsewhere. Then again, if you idiots really do offer him 2.7M, I'm sure even he would move to Baton Rouge for that big of a payday. Nobody else seems to want to do so

It is that simple.

Getting better facilities is part of building a program.

He has not built a program at Tennessee until he has facilities and years of success.

Tennessee fans calling LSU baseball fans idiots is rich.

BTW

Don’t get your panties in a wad.

Nobody knows if LSU is even interested in him.

It is kinda fricked up that an SEC program has to be concerned about another SEC program taking their HC.

And you hired a coach with 0 championships because…

Guess you are just setting you’re expectations at an appropriate level.

Regardless of where Vitello ends up coaching down the road, he can get better in the future. Still very young and inexperienced but he has done good things.

Getting Tennessee to the CWS is an accomplishment and he brought Tennessee to the top among one of the toughest conferences out there. It wasn't some just some Cinderella run either. He built a good team.
