Look players at Alabama, Auburn, etc. get cars, cash, etc.(Yes Bama's are better as they have deeper pockets) So are complaining that they cheat better than us? I am so sick of the NCAA. The new name, image and likeness, plus instant transfers is about to change everything. Imagine how much Cam Newton would make. Ttowns Menswear with players legally able to sign jerseys, etc. Tua endorsement of Nick Saban's car dealerships... The list goes on.
Bottom line: No more amateur status.
Alabama announced Tuesday that it has created a program called The Advantage, which will assist and educate Crimson Tide student-athletes with the tools necessary to build and elevate their personal brands. The program, which will combine on-campus resources with external organizations, will focus on the management of each individual brand, maximizing personal social media platforms and education on financial literacy.
You have to give Bama credit, they will take advantage of the new NIL (Just like they have with the transfer portal). The rich get richer.
