Eagle Point subdivision in Birmingham has pretty significant damage. Lot of trees down on 280 near Greystone as well.

Drone Footage of Eagle Point

It's absolutely wild how one home can be destroyed and the one across the street completely unscathed.

Media outlets are reporting 5 fatalities in Calhoun county. That's early so it could easily change for the better or worse.

Ohatchee has the only deaths reported so far: five, including one family of three.

I don't want to assume, but I'm guessing a mobile home or pre-fab house was involved.

Yeah, my friend lives in Eagle Point. His house has some fairly minor damage, but 2 of the houses across the street from his are total losses.

According to the news, 2 were in mobile homes and 3 were in stickbuilt.

Being in a stickbuilt home improves your chances, but in no way guarantees your survival.
