But lopsided rivalries are not real rivalries since they are not competitive. LSU only has 2 wins against Alabama in the last 10 years.

...Alabama leads 54-26, and 9 out of 10 of the last games!

It's absurd to call them a rival...they'll(the honest ones) even admit to it.

This can change from year to year, era to era. LSU/Auburn felt like a much bigger deal last decade than this decade.

LSU/Bama are in the same division and won the last 2 national titles. That will always intensify things.

Missed opportunity ramps things up as well. Who knows what would have happened had Tua played smarter and stayed healthy.
