He is NOT a proven winner, he’s a PAC 12 failure, then ate boogers at Bama, went to the Falcons for 2 years before tucking his tail and returning to Saban. The only success he’s had has been at Bama and he’s just reaping the benefits of what’s been built long before he got there. Saban coattail rider!!!

He's actually been following the Lane Train and reaping his rewards.

That's who we need to hire.

You've got your opinion, and others have theirs. I think Sark is ready. Look at Kiffin. Failed at Oakland and USC. Took his lumps and now has OM on the upswing. He's a good coach. So is Sark. He's a good coach who knows how to develop his players. I say give him a shot.

Lane had Tennessee competitive and did a good job at FAU. What successes does Sark have under his belt? I want a proven winner, not give someone a chance hire.

He can successfully hide a flask of whiskey under his belt

He’s 8 games into a pandemic-crippled season. They’ve beaten 3-6 UK, 2-6 Carolina, 2-7 MSU and 0-8 Vandy. And they lost to 3-5 Arky. Would any HC at Ole Miss have fared any worse this year?

Don’t get me wrong, I think Kiffin will end up being a good HC there, but the jury is still way out.

Dude, with the exception of about 2 or 3 positions, Ole Miss has Middle Tennessee talent

As opposed to MSU, with 49 guys on scholarship? Vandy, who had a chick playing for them? Arky, who hadn’t won an SEC game in THREE frickING YEARS but still beat them?

Let me remind you that the best coach that we have ever had was once an assistant at Alabama.

It’s hard to judge sark because every OC has success at Bama. The resources at their disposal are always bountiful. Bama fans hated Nussmeier and he still averaged 32 a game. He was their worst.

8 win Gus is better than 7 win Sark.

Sarkisian's 2012 Washington team defeated most of the lower-level Pac-12 teams but were blown out by the upper-level ones. Sarkisian's consecutive seven-win seasons earned him the mocking nickname "Seven Win Steve".[15] Sarkisian would go on to win eight games in 2013 before taking the head coaching job at USC prior to Washington's bowl game.

I'm a hard no on Sark, Freeze and Lane.

All have issues, I think the upside of all is overstated.

At least when you hire Billy Napier or something you're probably not picking up the pieces of a crushed program when you have to move on. That's a real possibility for all three of these guys.
